Yellowing!

Hey guys I have a Bruce Banner bagseed here. It's been going pretty good(check my grow journal). I don't feed nutes or pH my water (I know, I know). I use bottled water and some organic Walmart soil (not MG). I have (3) 23w CFL's and (1) 40w CFL on it. Is this sunburn? Overwatering? Underwatering? Please help!

Looks like your soil is to hot for the seedling and could be burning the plant. Or, you are over watering and the roots are rotting. Are you allowing the top of the soil to dry out decently between waterings?

Which soil and why are you using bottled? How often do you water and hold old is the seedling?

Well hes doing things on the cheap, so I doubt hes going to pay to ph his water and what not, I assume thats why hes using bottled.

i agree, hot soil burning your seedling. i'd get rid of that crap and get some coco coir. if you insist on soil, flush that out good, and let it dry out a little between waterings, especially when they're that small, they need to look for water or your roots will never develop.

Actually, sounds like he doesn't know what hes doing. Bottled water cost more then tap and will eventually show secondary/ trace deficiencies. The soil he bought is not helping at all and i think MG nature's care would be the easiest soil to grow seedlings in available at wal-mart. What he actually should do is read read read. Growing blind is full of serious fuck-ups.

Flushing and all that wont do a damn thing if its soil thats just dead and compacted down smothering the roots. And yes SPL I agree. Bottled water cost can get him a ph test kit. Im lucky enough to have great tap water so I dont even bother with all that.

i did say get rid of that crap, and what does his ph matter if hes got it stuck in a pot of what is basically clay?
the plant may survive if he gets rid of most of the nutes they cram into their shit soil. i'd either repot in decent soil with some perlite in it, or just fuck soil and go coco, like a reasonable person

Thanks for all the replies guys. I know I was being cheap. I've ordered a pH tester and I'm going to get new soil to repot. Should I go with coco or FFOF? Looking for ease for my first grow.

by the way, i really like coco, use a 70/30 coco/perlite mix, but good soil is fine as well, just make sure its GOOD soil and not a bag of mud and mulch
