Sooo in short I use the mono tub method ( I make my own tub using a huge clear tote with white lid) I use a 2 inch drill and put about 10 holes in the tub about 2 inches above my substrate line and fill with poly fill. I use a clear small trash bag to place between the top of the tote and between the lid. (I spray the whole thing down with lysol and coat the rim of the lid so the trash bag kinda sticks to the rim and seals.)
I make my own self healing ports and use rye berries for inoculation.
I then mix this with about 10 pounds of pasteurized 50/50 horse manure/hay. Then when ready I add my casing mix to the top.
The only thing that I do a lot of and it seems to help a gread deal Is I use a small mister/fan that I use three times a day to add water and oxygen on them. Thats the only thing I do differently. I get mushrooms this size by the second flush.
I really dont think I do anything to much differently then anyone else.
Maybe I just have a natural nack for shrooms and growing plants????

my first try was like that on 10lbs cow shit mix and ive never had luck since

i cant find the pre-cleaned shit i used

Yes...they are starting to get a bit to stretchy for my liking, but its been non stop rain. Maybe two days of sun in the last 12 days :(

But they are sure taking off now!!! I started with 200 gallons but now its closer to 300 gallons a plant.20160602_055608.jpg

Let me just put a side note for all you mushroom heads.... I grow them as a hobby. Yes I can do it but its not my thing. I learned enough just to make it work (with great success) im a gardener...this is not my gig. I did not post the pics to say I grow the biggest or baddest...this is just what I grow. Soooo for all the haters (u know u are) CALM DOWN!!!! this is not a pissing contest ok???
for the rest of the nice ppl in here...thank you! Just thought you would enjoy the pictures is all.
