Orange centipede looking thing....

So my 1 plant in growing in my back yard. Looks pretty horrible lol. Has 3 nodes....has been raining a lot also.....leaves are turning yellow and brown. Plus it was in a horrid noob mix lol....(miricle grow) so any ways I transplanted it....while digging around the roots this 1in long ORANGE centipede looking thing was deep down hanging out in the roots. I'm guessing I dumped him out. But anyone know what the hell it might of been??

(Not expecting much with this plant.....I love my indoor grow and threw this one outside in a empty milk jug cut in half lol.)

I walk around my garden barefoot much of the time so when I see those buggers I call them dead...
