Burning Man

I was surprised that I could not find a Burning Man thread here on riu, so here we go. This thread is for all things Burning Man.

About a month ago I was trimming a plant and struggling to find something to more or less listen to while I trim. There was nothing on so I put it on a movie called Spark: a burning man story. I ended up catching the last half first, then sought to record it later and watch it all.

Now I feel like Richard Dreyfus in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, with his vision of the flat mountain he feels absolutely compelled to go to - so must I go to participate in Burning Man.

I'll be there in 2017.

Any other burners on riu?

Well, since posting, I've learned that the best forums for burning man are burningman.org and reddit/burningman.

Thankfully I ain't into that lingo or even save myself from being burnt..
