First grow. I started 3 plants from seed. Auto flower 2 of 3 germinated great. I switched them into a seedling starter pot made from cork and bark. The pot is about 6" deep. They are exactly 1 week old and about 1.5 " tall and wide with 2 sets of leaves and a third starting. I read about autos getting root bound and not recovering. My question is did I wait too long and mess up by not starting them in their final pot. I am going to transplant tonight into 5 gallon smart pots. I just thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts? Could I have stunted them already. They look healthy and my temp is 75 and humidity is 50% with good airflow. Hopefully all will be good. Thank you.

Pictures would help us determine if they're fucked or not. If they look green still and have new growth like you say then they should be okay. But yeah, you should of started them in the final pot.

Seems you haven't really looked into growing or you'd of known. I'd suggest you get reading, there's techniques to watering in large pots, if you've not looked into it then you'll probably over water and drown/suffocate them, so yeah, get reading.

Cool thanks man! They do look ok. I was thinking of posting pics. How do you feel taking photos with cell phone to upload. Too risky or am I being paranoid. I don't want to do something that will cause an issue later. Everything I do is discreet and I'm the only one who knows. What is your opinion. Thanks for the help.

You can turn off location on privacy before you take a picture and download an app to remove the data from the picture after it's called metadata, it's fairly simple. If your not using proxys and shit to post anyway they can probably trace it if they wanted. It'd take forever for them to do though cause of the amount of content on forums like this. So it's up to you, but personally I just make sure my location is hidden and the metadata is erased.

Going back to the plants, if they look ok then look up transplanting methods and watch a few videos. They will probably take a few days to pick up once you do transplant them but just give them time, careful not to over water.

On average you only have 30 days of veg time on autos, some can be less or more, depends on several factors. You dont know until you grow it out really.Anything that stalls this period will result in a much smaller plant, sometimes this can be a benefit.Photosensitive plants dont really have this issue as you can veg as long as you want.I avoid transplanting autos, takes away too much training time.

Looking alright there. Judging from the darker soil you've only watered around the seedling which is good. What soil you using?

I was just thinking I'm running 60w 5500 cfls now. I was thinking of buying a Mars hydro 300 watt or the 48 reflector series. Is this worth it. Also if not when do I switch to different color spectrum on the auto flower. I am like 11 days in now. My area is like 2x2 I just don't know if either of these two lights are going to give me better results I know it will be easier not having to change bulbs. Thanks for the help.

I think they look great.. Which LED did you end up going with? I only ask because I just picked up the Mars Hydro 300 and am about to start my autos in relatively the same set up

I was always told to start an auto in the co tainer its gonna finish in.
Any ebay LED LIGHT is good, stay awaY from the 6 watt and the double.cHip aka 10 watt, they are much weaker than the 5 watt. The 3 watt are the best. I tested all with a light meter. Marshydro are good lights but are way over priced now. Vipar are good as well. The cob leds for sale are decent as well, but i did have to return 2 of the 4 i got due to 5 of 8 ballast going bad within a month.

I was able to get two of the Mars Hydro 300w for 130 shipped.. I didn't think that was too bad of a price but I didn't do a lot of price comparisons..

That is a good price. I was going to do that too but I went with one at a lower cost to save money now and get the extra 100w over them. I am going to need another one in the next month as I am going to be starting two more autos across from the two you see in the pics.
