4-6 inch Rockwool Cubes and heating pads

Hi folks. Just wondering if any of you think its necessary to have heating pads under your flood tables when using straight rock wool cubes for hydro? Do you think the rockwool will retain water too long and the heating pads will greatly improve the situation?

I know when I let my root zone in my spray setup get to warm bad things happen to the roots even when there is no sitting water, just roots. I would check root health if trying it. Doesn't take long to fuck up the grow when it comes to root issues.
