I woke up at 6pm this evening after staying up til 5am cloning, man my circadian rhythym is completely out of whack. My lights are on from about 7pm on, with a MH and HPS in my bedroom. Light leaks from the tents, and ive been leaving the tents partially unzipped for a few hours here n there in the evening. Whether or not Im cloning or doing any sort of gardening my energy level spikes in the evening and im completely crashed throughout the day, has anyone else been able to keep a healthy sleep schedule as a grower? Ive been working 20 hours then sleeping 20 hours, im completely missed today

You will continue to have this problem as long as you've got those bright lights in your bedroom. It's not unique to you.

Ya I know I was just wondering what other people do with their light schedules, i figure them on at night is best for stable temperatures and to be able to work on them when theres less traffic

i run from early morning to early evening but wouldnt be able to stand having that bright light in my actual bedroom. Your sleep is definitely affected by them, i think they use bright lights to reset people's biological circadian rhythm for sleep disorders.

Light therapy can be used to treat bipolar...

I know I have bipolar pretty bad but it has been under control since I've been growing. One thing I hadn't considered until recently is light conditioning. I've conditioned myself to my lights.

I recently spent a few days away from home and I was miserable. I'm convinced it was because I didn't have my light therapy.

Yes, the light is seriously screwing with your daily rhythm. What I did was decode what I wanted my sleep aggressors to look like, then made sure I wouldn't have to be around grow lights for several hours before bedtime.

For the odd inspection at night, I use dark shades, like shade 5 welding glasses.

Im odd i guess..i sleep fine all night with a 1k in room and 600 hps in open closet on 24/0 no tent.
When im in my actual house i usually still sleep with the ceiling lights on

Pretty sure i have mental disorders as well though too lol

But i also rarely enter deep sleep, no dreams and loud noises dont bother me. My subconscious is still around to make out cell phone and my name etc

Yeah, if you're up all night and the sunlight is gonna come thru the window, those eye pillows, or whatever they are w the elastic aband, help.

Oh and hey guy ^^^ since you've changed your career and daily stress that may attribute to a reduction in any erratic symptoms. I know stress tweaks me, any kind really. work, women, travel and being away from home.

I have 2 4x4 closets in my upstairs "room". My upstairs is one big room, and it's where I sleep. I use the closets as my grow rooms, and light leaks out of them. But it doesn't interfere with my sleep.

However, as much exercise as I do every day, a nuclear blast wouldn't wake me up. I'm asleep before my head hits the pillow every night. I sleep like a baby from 9:00-4:30.
