I plan on making some qwiso and i pretty much have the idea. What i want to do is make some and mix it up with some pg in a shot glass in a pan of hot water and fill a oil cartridge and put the cartridge on my kangertech battery to smoke.I have read alot about that this is not a good idea with pg because of seperation. Will this be the case or should i use ejmix or pg400?Also if i mix flavoring will it mask the smelll?

Here is what I do.

First, I make sure I get quality PG/USP. I like to use what they call kosher PG/USP. I get it from High Desert Vapes.
Next, I just warm it up, add the oil, stir until they mix well. Keep in mind, I am using clean, high quality, alcohol concentrates. That usually does it for me, they stay mixed really well for the first week or two.
You can add a drop or to of that EJ mix and supposedly it will help it stay mixed longer. Homoginizing can also help it stay mixed longer. For me, I don't have a purpose for any of that.
With the right vaping equipment, it isn't going to last a week!! I just mix enough for up to a week's worth of vaping. With the wick type top coil units, the wicking can cause the oil to separate more quickly unless you take the extra steps I mentioned. The top coils are pretty much ancient technology, as well as the cartridge type. You like KangerTech, you want to try the whoop? $50 should get you what you need. Well, $70 with the battery and charger. This is what I use http://www.vapordna.com/Kanger-Subox-Nano-50W-Starter-Kit-p/nsubox.htm
I like the larger square 0.5 ohm (sub ohm) coils for cannabis oil. For e-ciggs I like the 1.5 ohm coils.

Flavoring, PEG400, I have a lot of information on my blog. I like organic, natural flavorings, which I also get from High Desert Vapes. Flavoring will mask the smell when mixed correctly. You can blow the vapor in someone's face and they would have no idea it is cannabis oil.

If you do try the KangerTech SUBOX Nano kit, you can use an oil mix that is thicker. I can have my solution so thick that the expando and buzz is too intense for me. I like to hit it more than once or twice! The KangerTech Subox Nano will work best when using PEG400, and flavoring to mask the taste. The reason why is this unit can handle thick oil and PEG400 is very thick compared to PG/USP. Most tanks can't handle the thickness of the PEG let alone straight concentrate.

WOW!!!That was very helpful,Very informative.Thank you very much.I already have a kangertech mini,What i was planning to do was to get a oil specific cartridge to put the mix in and attach it to the battery and use it that way. What i am mostly worried about is seperation. What if i used the ejmix or peg without adding any pg?Would that make it stay together longer? Also i know it is off topic but what would be the best way to make a more shatter product with the qwiso method? What i was thinking about doing was to freeze bud and iso for a couple of hours.Soak for 10/15 sec,Pour in strainer,Do another strain using unbleached coffee filter into pyrex dish,Blow fan over untill all is slightly dissolved,With a heating mat put heat at say 120 degrees to dissolve it a little more,While warm scrape it all together and put on perchment paper and set on a frying pan at 150 untill bubbles are gone,Than freeze.Does this sound good to you? Please make me aware of any corrections that i should be aware of please.

Would this ratio work with qwiso to e liquid?1 gram concentrate,1ml ejmix, half ml pg.Would this work and vape well without seperation?

I literally use 1 drop of ej mix per ml of oil. Then I add 2 ml of PG. Point being, EJ Mix tastes bad and costs more, so best to use minimally. My juices do not separate.

This has been answered previously. You want the KangerTech subtank nano. I recommend the square 0.5 ohm coil.

You say you have a KangerTech mini? Mini what? Vape, tank, which model? I have some KangerTech mini tanks, but they are older for me, like the Aerotank mini.

The vape that I am thinking of when you say mini is the KBOX mini 50W, 60W, 75W they are all pretty much the same.

To answer your question about the QWISO. I only fan dry, no need to purge like BHO. Seek out qwisoking here on the forums. He will tell you all about it.

As for the KangerTech subtank mini, I don't recommend those for e-cannabis, they leak, especially when you go to refill. The new top fill model, that may be a solution, but I have not tried one yet.

I'm puffing on my nano right now!

Here is one place where you can get the nano tank for around $20 http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kangertech-Subtank-Nano-3ml-Tank-p/krstn-k10.htm

I am sorry,You are right i meant kbox with the subtank.I really dont see much difference in the kbox and the nano but you are right it does leak. That pisses me off because i paid like 60 bucks for it.It seems like it only happens if i let it get to low though but never less it leaks. That is why i am afraid to use it,Fear of loosing my juice.I may be able to use another tank on it just not sure what to go with.An oil specific cartridge or some other tank.Just not sure.

Yes, they are basically the same, use the same coils and such. But when it comes to leaking and flooding, they are not the same! My mini floods each time I go to refill it. The nano has very few problems, if and when it dose flood a little it is very easy to clear it out by sucking in and turning the watts up a little. I have not had that happen with a thick mixture of e-cannabis oil using PG/USP. I recommend to start off with PG/USP then decide whether or not you need to add something else or change the mixture.

If you have the KBOX mini, I recommend to get the subtank nano in black or another color, not stainless steel. It will offer you the best vaping experience.

Thanks for the reply and great info,I pretty sure i found the problem but not sure to trust it or not with cannabis oil.The seal ring on the air flow control valve was missing.I dont know if it was missing when i purchased it or it came off while refilling it but i emailed kangertech anyway and told them it was missing. If they do anything about it i dont know.I will probably get that subtank nano that you told me about just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the link and all your advice.Peace out.

The bottom fill minis have proven to me to be junk, however the coils are great and work with the nano. I would get the subtank nano. I have not tried the new top fill units yet, but the regular bottom fill is awesome with the 0.5 ohm coil. For e-ciggs the 1.5 ohm coil is great.

I got one of those kangertech nano tanks that you talk about and ready to fill with some iso vape juice. This one i have you can fill from the top or bottom. Before i use the coil do i have to use the juice and put some on the coil the same way i do the nicotine juice before filling?

You can, I usually don't though. I just fill it and let the unit sit for 20 to 30 minutes before using depending on how thick my oil is.

Did you get PG/USP for thinning? It will assist in vaporizing as well as assist in lung penetration so you will get more THC.

I have never tried the top fill unit. I wanted to, but they were sold out at the time. Hopefully it is just as good or better.

Openvape has a set up that they sell for refills. They have "ojuice" which I am pretty sure is PG with some type of flavor enhancer. I orded some pg 300 off of Amazon and some syringes and mixed a gram of wax with some pg300 until it was liquid enough to fill in the tank. Tastes good and works well. Just don't use too much PG.

I can't remember for sure if it was PG or PEG 300. So, double check that part before you buy anything. It is the same thing they use for fog machines I think.

This is basically the same thing and might even taste better than openvape brands.

I got the pg and i also got some ejmix. What my plan is,Is to use like maybe a half a ml to a gram ad than follow up with say 1 or 1.5 ml of pg.Just to be sure it doesnt seperate. It might not come out as pure as yours do.What do you think?
