Harvesting time issues

Hi guys, I started my grow with 6 white russian clones. They are now in week 7 of flowering. I've noticed that I have 2 phenos in my grow. 4 plants that are the same pheno started to show brown hairs so early that I couldn't believe it (week 4). Now at the beginning of week 7 I have the following problem. 4 plants that exhibit the same pheno have like 70% of brown hairs and justify the name WHITE russian. It's like snow on the buds. Other 2 plants that exhibit other pheno have only 2% of brown hair (no "snowing" effect yet and what's even more strange they are not sticky to touch like other pheno). Is it even possible that clones could have such a huge difference between maturity time? I would understand day, two even a week, but if you look at those 2 phenos you would say: "4 plants will be ready in a week or less, other 2 plants need like 3 weeks if not more". This is making my harvesting time and specially starting of a flush a bit challenging as I can't afford to cut them one by one (need place for drying). Any thoughts or suggestions?

I thought I was going too far when I did 8 different strains at the same time. Ended up having to harvest in to steps 2 weeks apart. Not my favorite way of finishing up, however I found even though it dragged things out it made the entire process easier due to the work being spread out over a longer time....

Have a good harvest!

Not unheard of, some "strains" (tongue in cheek, there's a lot of garbage out there) have huge variations depending on the breeder(s). If you want consistent yields/schedule, your best bet is to grow out the seeds you want, pick the best looking/smelling ones, then clone and flower those. Growing from seed to flower can be a nightmare if you're on any sort of schedule.

Yeah this was my first time buying clones (they are legal to sell in shops near me).
as I have 2 boxes (veg + flower) I already have 2nd batch (from seed) in veg and I think I'll stay away from unverifiable clones. I was prepared for a difference in maturity when harvesting but not by that much. This now opens a whole new set of problems for me because I have to harvest all at once...

I have a good amount of experience growing white russian. Its my favourite strain. The pistils turing brown at week 4 in any strain is more indicative of a growing problem than a pheno trait. I would suspect salt build up in your grow medium, possibly. As for the other pheno not producing sticky trichs... that may also be a growing problem because white russian is famous for showing trichs early and getting super frosty. That is why i love the strain. Either that or it simply is not white russian.....

Wow, I had assumed you were talking seeds based on the variations. If one or two of them come out well you'd be better to clone those until you find a reliable supplier.

I'm thinking more that one pheno is white russian and other 2 are something else. Only strain that I've seen with so many trichs and so early is white widow which makes me think 1 pheno is def from WHITE family and could be white russian. Even with officially 2 weeks to harvest I dried a small popcorn bud yesterday (from a more mature pheno) and even at this point it's strong as hell...

Hm. yes I could have a salt build up in one, maybe 2..but 4?and not all 6?that's weird...
I'm using biobizz light mix + metrop fertilizers (I've been a metrop fan for years).

I already have 3 northern lights, super skunk and master kush growing in my veg room(all from sensi seeds - huge fan) and I was hoping to make clones before taking them to 12/12 but as now I have different harvesting times only thing I could do is forget about cloning for next grow (again from seed) and then use the veg room for drying and moving girls from veg to flower room with other 2 plants that are still maturing. I think I'll do that. This way I will let them mature whenever they want. As my wife says. You can't rush perfection :)

Good point about the salt build up.... im not sure what to think now....

I too am a big fan of sensi seeds and the northern lights ive got from them have performed extremely welll... big fan of that one too... right after the ak47, which....

Anyway... good luck with the girls....would like to know how this round turns out for you.... as i said i have a soft spot for the white russian chicks....

ive never had a clone that was exactly the same...why i prefer the term cutting...but not that far off.
variations are normal, as the plant like you is ever changing and environment plays a huge roll.

anyway im just talking
good luck

thanks for your input qwizoking!

Ok I've managed to do some pics. Those are 2 phenos I'm talking about...
As you can see pheno 2 hardly has any brown hair while pheno 1 is almost at 60% (if not more).

But I'm relying more on my microscope to see when my plants mature...
