Thanks everyone. I feel like a have a nice direction to go in now. I must have over 300 strains in seed form. I looked to double check last night and not one (not even a random freebie) has even a bubba kush parent! I'm not sure I've ever even smoked it! time to get crackin.

Actually I have one bean that was a freebie. Purple afghan kush from dinafem. Has a pre 98 bubba dad. Not excited about dinafem but I found pictures of the finished product that look nice. Maybe I'll pop for shits and gigs.

racerboy grew the cali conn bubba. i grew the cali conn bubba as well. some of the best smoke to this day! ill be getting more with the hopes itll be the same or close. fems too lol

u wanna split a pack or 2 im down.....

I've found that if you avoid the criticals and the widows, there's often something worthwhile in a Dinabean.

TBH honest I've never seen a bad review, more like B/B+ ratings all around. Nothing bad enough to scare me away. Sometimes the freebies really intrigue me because they are so different from my normal order.

sorry to have taken so long to reply bob, but yeah, i grew cali con's pre98 bubba, from fem, and it was some fire..
i also grew a bubba that the person i got it from called it so'cal bubba, in clone form, and i have to say, i think the cali con version was better than w/e this clone was..
a few things to know about bubba kush..
very little, if any, stretch, in flower..
super thick stems, doesn't take well to lst, at all..

oh shit, i forgot to mention super slow veg'er as well..

i really love bubba, bob.. amazing tastes ranging from coffee, chocolate, to a piney, og side to it as well, depending on pheno.. really potent, indica smoke that will glue you to the couch ime.. not the biggest yielder is pretty much my only complaint about bubba kush..

Thanks for all the info! I think I'm gonna try cali conn, dr greenthumb and Loud for the bubba kush and TGA, cannarado, dynasty, bodhi and Karma for bubba crosses. Maybe I'll do a journal and have a bubba off.

if you haven't already, check out dr gruber's grow journals on drgt's bubba kush.. dr g, is pretty much our resident drgt expert, and usually kills it every time he throws up a journal imo..
i've never grown drgt's bubba, but have grown a few other things from him, including his ecsd, dope, and shit, i can't think of the last one atm, lol, but he's always had some pretty legit gear ime, sometimes a bit pricey, but w/e so long as he delivers the fire..

drgt's also has a bubba og that i've seen a few grows of on here, which the og seems to up the yields on the bubba a bit, which can only be a good thing though.. i'm pretty sure it's one of his pricier strains though, which is what has kept me from picking up a pack myself..

I grew a Chem #4 clone I got from someone on craigslist. He claimed it was from Dr GT. If this is accurate I would not have a problem paying his outrageous prices. I may have pics I will check.
