WE MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO GROW

Now is the time. We need a strong voice who can represent the people who want to home grow and micro grow. We need some people who can go to Ottawa and lobby and make the right arguments, we need someone with an education who is well spoken, clean cut and has a voice of reason.

A person who can rep us with out getting emotions about it all.
As we sit at this moment they are starting to draft the new rules in Ottawa, we need to get someone ASAP to be our voice.

Is it Kirk Tousaw? some new lawyer we have not heard of? a Lobby firm? a well spoken activist? Any suggestions?

the right is already there..

. it's weather or not you will survive "not growing"
That is the key..
others will say more but this is the bottom line for the sick and dying

That fight is being fought, we need to fight it from this side as well.

All our homegrow lobbying has already been done by Conroy and the Goldstars. Until Phelan makes his decision, we don't even know whether we have a future fight?

Health Canada, Justice Minister, and JT himself are all waiting on the Phelan decision. How can the government even address homegrows, when the judge hasn't even ruled on them yet?

Grab a respected Canadian celebrity and run ads.
The first person to come to my mind is Micheal J Fox.

He's extremely well known, liked, trusted and Canadian.
He also has health issues of his own, and if he were the spokes person he would grab attention and compassion for your cause.

Some may think it's stupid, or wouldn't work, but grabbing the publics attention and sympathy is easier than getting it through to politicians. Get the public on your side, the libs made it an election issue so they've opened the door to a public that is now listening.

I am just thinking of the "Legal" system compared to the "Med" I think that both need the right to grow. I think the Health Minister is already starting to consult for the Rec system, so I think this would be a good time to get our voice heard.

I just know from my friends in CO it was a lot of pressure from all sides that helped get them what they wanted in the end. I would like to have the option to grow a reduced number of plants so that if I decided to not get a renewal I can still grow. I think some people are sick but are just sick of dealing with the Dr's, and the insurers etc etc..

In CO the Rec and Med has been kept separate and I think they will do that in Canada because the Med has been court ordered. So that is why I am thinking now is a good time to fight for the basic grow rights for everyone.

Regardless hopefully they pass a damn decision soon, I thought by now he would of. I remember in the summer getting daily updates, now we are lucky if we hear anything about it.
I hope the judge is not waiting on the PM and the PM on the Judge that would be messed up.

Jesus Christ you guys...they are putting the "task force" together...if you're not invited to the table to have that conversation, your position is irrelevant to them. Phalen is the key.
