The study used Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI), a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technique that allowed the researchers to examine the white matter in the brains of 56 patients, all of whom reported their first psychotic episode at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). This data was then compared to data gathered from 43 healthy subjects from the surrounding community.

So they compared psycho oranges to average apples?
Maybe they should have tried comparing the brains of chronics who haven't "reported" a "psychotic episode"?
This is just another example of the media using appeals to authority to create "yellow press," as Buck puts it.
It's like saying the brain of Cannabineer is the same as Finshaggy's.
I'm pretty sure if we put them under the light, there would be a vast difference.

Your corpus callosum must be as thin as aluminum foil. You had better check in to a padded room, pronto. It's your duty to society.

Yeah, I saw this report recently. But are you suggesting the Forbes article is right wing propaganda?

The author of that article specifically points out the problems with the recent study, and is critical of it.

The writer of the Forbes op-ed may be critical of the study, but the editors at Forbes, and Forbes itself is most certainly a right wing propaganda machine, like The Wall Street Journal and Faux Noose.

I've never read Forbes until this article.

It appeared your opinion/criticism of them had something to do with the article you linked. Which you claim was trying to convince of us the validity of that study.

But they didn't do that.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say.

"Which you claim was trying to convince of us the validity of that study." -- Is an incoherent thought, please try to rephrase whatever it is you trying to say. -- But before you do, let me attempt to respond to what it is I think you are trying to say. -- I'm not trying to convince anyone that the studies are valid [or not], I am merely pointing out the absurdity of the articles and their respective headlines as it was written.

"It appeared your opinion/criticism of them had something to do with the article you linked." -- To whom are you referring and to what article? I post two articles, if you are specifically referring to the Forbes article, then I was referring to the author, its editor and the medium for which it was presented, being Forbes [online].

Good grief...I just realized it was see4, not Buck.
You people and your avatar games...
OG Kush helps with the illusion, too.
I should have realized something was up when the giant sig pics were missing.
You see? Brain damage, kids...
This is your brain. This is your brain vapourized by plasma. This is toast with a sunny-side up egg on top.
Any questions?
