Has anyone had luck finding a medical/rec job out of state?

I tried. Took a few interviews in Colorado. It was a bunch of douche bags wit money and no knowledge of the business. I went to a "grow warehouse" that was over 100,000 sq ft and these dudes has no rooms, no airconditioners just a ton of vertical bare bulb 400s. Told them they need to invest in proper equipment, they didn't wanna hear that so I didn't get the job.

Id rather go to Northern California at this point. Do some outdoor and some indoor. Don't have to deal wit the extreme cold of Colorado
That is exactly my fear. Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure there's bad apples but at this point it's a chance for rich people to try growing pot. Guess that's a lot of places both med and rec.

Interesting! I actually am a caregiver in a med state and Northern California is one of my prime targets. After all the research I've done my current thinking is just to get there, grow - sell to dispensaries and maybe try to circle the grey area that is a delivery business. Breeding and starting a seedbank is also in the cards hopefully. One thing at a time though. I would certainly prioritize getting meds to patients who are in need. This is why I'm a caregiver in the first place, my girlfriend and I are very passionate about educating and helping those who can't grow for themselves and suffer from health issues. Obviously it'd be nice to make a decent living too.

Other than Humboldt, anywhere you'd recommend in the north? I have buddies in San Diego but the mountains and greenery more so suit my lifestyle where you're at.
About 40 miles north of San Fransico.

Santa Rosa?
Then take a left and head west. Jump in a kayak and paddle about 15 miles. Once you start seeing a bunch of nude beaches you will know you are home. But don't worry the gay commuinty is not what you think. Some of the coolest motherfuckers you've ever met. My wifes sister is one of those bull dike type bitches (well she wishes she was) and her crew of friends are fucking awesome.

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has had luck finding a job in a legal state from a different state.

Like many others, I'm trying to find work in California, Colorado, or Washington specifically but I live in the Midwest. Just wondering if anyone here has had success doing so and if they have any tips, leads, whatever.

I feel as though I am very qualified being a cultivator for years, but it's not like you can put that in a resume. This is my dream but it's looking pretty bleak at the moment.

Thanks for any input!
I moved to cali when i graduated high school a few years ago and moved from tx for medical, i was surprised how difficult it was but i was determined to get into the industry and tried spamming collectives off weedmaps for 2-3 weeks i really wanted to be a trimmer and to learn to grow after 3 different interviews i got 2 jobs but i focused on this one who had showed me his op in his shed and i was mystified, sadly he didn't perpetual and the month i was there he was starting clones when i had to go back for an affordable education, it was crazy how many non mj businesses in cali were not as mj friendly as i had hoped for, i told home Depot i smoked b4 wasting time on a drug test when i was applying for anything and the manager was unsure of their policy and ended up emailing me once i moved back home, but as for the actual job after a fierce hunt, it was my best job ever it sucked going back to my old soberific (front) job sucks having to pretend lol I mainly drove with an ounce split up into baby 8ths of various strains in my car that smelled so good for days, id deliver the bag professionally to lots of really interesting people it was sooo fun, it was difficult delivering in cali though for sure, trying to find the right apartment, people not answering the door, doing business excel stuff, making sure his business had a record of people's med cards, keeping up with 300 bucks- once a guy tipped me like 40 when i think he meant to give 20 :) I didn't get to learn much about growing until i started researching hard core when i got back. one time this hot Chick thought she left her license and got back in my car right after dealing 20ft away from 2 cops talking
