Shotgun injury.

Yep I got hurt. I was hunting and got excited while shooting a 12 gauge three inch magnum. I had a broken collar bone heal wrong so I have to shoot funny as it is. I didn't seat the stock tight and pulled the trigger early.

It slammed I to my chest. It cracked a rib and separated the cartilage.

It hurts to even breathe. I despise pain pills but have had to take some.

I'm kinda laid up for a day or two.

Dude. Chainsaws and shot guns don't seem to be your repertoire. I been dying to shoot a 3 1/2 magnum out of my 12. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have a 870 super mag.

Your talking a life time of hunting and chainsaws. Shit happens. Its more how the bone healed and I can't properly shoot on my right shoulder.

3 1/2 kicks pretty hard.

I've fired shotguns thousands of times. It was a slip up.

Other than that I practice gun safety. Guns are nothing to play around with.

Always treat them as loaded.
Always point muzzle in safe direction.
Don't aim at something you don't intend to shoot.
Know what is behind your target.
Don't cross fences with you gun in you hands. Lay it down then cross.
Things like that to keep safe.

Well a 3 1/2 12 gauge is a 10 gauge load in a 12 gauge but no I wouldn't be interested. Well, idk. What make is it?

I know. That's why I said I despise them. The suck for chronic pain, they will make you hurt worse.

For acute pain they are fine.

I've fired shotguns thousands of times. It was a slip up.

Damn dude. I checked out my old school Win 1300 and its stamped like 2 3/4 and 3". Eff I thought it shot 3 1/2 magnums. WTF? Spread some knowledge. Thanx.

I have a win 1300 in 20 gauge. Good gun.

Actually, unless you shoot a lot of 3 1/2 it is pointless. When shooting 2 3/4 out of a 3 1/2 chamber it hurts the pattern. I've learned that 2 3/4 and 3 in is all that is needed.

Just to let everyone know I wasn't being dangerous. The gun was slightly loose I think. I may have had seated good. It may just be the kick from the round that did it. I have been shooting a lot lately.
