Bernie Sanders sides with Obama and against Clinton on no-fly zone in Syria

oh, yes he did!

“We must be very careful about not making a complex and dangerous situation in Syria even worse,” Sanders said in a statement to The Washington Post. “I support President Obama’s efforts to combat ISIS in Syria while at the same time supporting those in that country trying to remove the brutal dictatorship of Bashar Assad.”

But, Sanders added: “I oppose, at this point, a unilateral American no-fly zone in Syria, which could get us more deeply involved in that horrible civil war and lead to a never-ending U.S. entanglement in that region.”

In a television interview broadcast Thursday, Clinton advocated additional air power to protect civilians in the multi-front war, in which Syrian rebels and international advocates have said that air patrols in Syria’s north could give civilians a refuge from Assad’s bombing raids.

“I personally would be advocating now for a no-fly zone and humanitarian corridors to try to stop the carnage on the ground and from the air,” the former secretary of state said in the interview broadcast late Thursday by NBC affiliate WHDH in Boston.

Clinton’s position puts her in the same camp as some Republican contenders for the presidential nomination, including former Florida governor Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

In a news conference Friday, Obama said Clinton "is not half-baked in terms of her approach to these problems." But he said that "there's a difference between running for president and being president. And the decisions that are being made and the discussions that I'm having with the joint chiefs become much more specific and require, I think, a different kind of judgment."

Lol...

Obama said that "if and when she's president, then she'll make those judgments," adding that "these are tough calls."

Me and Obama actually agree on something, Clinton is the only relevant Democrat worth mentioning.

A vote for Bernie is worth as much as a vote from an Irish person...

Stick that in your meth pipe and smoke it.
i agree.

your vote and your opinion are both worthless.

and pretty racist, anti-semitic, and misogynist too.

4'11'' worth of angry loser.

Everybody knows you're pushing this Sanders hating schtick to gloat when and if he loses the nomination

You should realize fueling your own ego isn't the best way to conduct yourself through life

You're just a crybaby. People on this forum you don't like support Sanders, so you don't support Sanders. His policies are by and far the best of any available candidate which is why he's bringing in the biggest crowds and reaching similar amounts of funding, without a super PAC.

So stop crying every time someone posts something about Sanders. Why don't you explain why you oppose his policies or why you think he's too far left?

I don't oppose his policies, I've stated that multiple times.

My position as I've made clear a number of times is that he's unelectable in the United States.

What's the point of posting, over and over again, in multiple threads, the idea that "He's unelectable!"?

"Sanders has a plan for the poor and middle class."
"Yeah, but he's unelectable!!"
"Sanders supports free higher education."
"So what! Did you know he's unelectable!?!"
..
"Sanders supports eliminating private, for profit prisons."
"But he's also unelectable!"
...

......

So you think he's unelectable. OK. I think we all understand that you feel that way by now. Even though, for some reason, you don't want to discuss why you feel that way. He's just automatically unelectable I guess. For the sole reason of his unelect ability, based on the sole fact that he is, as was previously stated, un-elect-able. Hopefully, that clears everything up..
