I know there is a lot of controversy about the art of defolation. lol I have no idea which side I'm on. and I'm going to go with whatever responses I get on my issue.
So my issue is that I think I had a bad infestation of thrips, and/or spider mites. Not to sure, but from the damage my fan leaves took I think it was thrips. But again, not sure.
I don't know if the infestation is still at large. cause I have a pretty bushy girl right now and it's hard to keep track of all the leaves that are damaged and all the ones that are not and if the leaf I'm looking at today is the one I found weeks ago when I first noticed the problem..
would it be of any benefit to remove all these leaves that have any damages from pests, do a treatment of spinosad again, and then see if they're still actively destroying my girls? I don't think I'll ever be able to tell unless I get rid of what's already damaged and start fresh.
would defolation be a dumb thing to do? what would I lose in doing this if anything.
hers some pics of my girls and their problems I'm noticing.
