Pain relief

Just thought I would share...couple weeks back I got too comfortable on a precariously situated ladder and went head over heals catching myself with my arms seemingly avoiding injury. Soon thereafter though my rotator cuffs on both shoulders started to hurt a bit culminating this week with them hurting so bad I will be going to an ortho in the morning. That said I have not felt like smoking all week and haven't. (I grow for my wife has RA and pain/sleep issues). I smoke merely for quality control. :). But I just spun a fat one and bogarted the whole thing and although the pain did not totally disappear it is substantially reduced while giving me a wider range of pain free movement.
I know...not news, just a new experience for me

the cannabinoids pain relieving properties are rather complex. not just being bi and triphasic but thc hitting nerves and cbd more muscular along with anti-inflammatory properties. im glad it helped. im curious why you arent smoking regularly then even before the incident. when i had surgery on my hand i couldn't smoke at all it sucked. caused too much pain

I've noticed some strains are good for pain and others are not. I find some can actually draw attention to the pain. It makes me focus on it.

Im weird like that though. I don't like to take a shit high because no matter how many wipes sometimes it just feels like you can't get clean.

I know I may catch crap for this but some of the best pain relief I've had is from autos.

the pain-relieving qualities of cannabis are amazing-it's helped me reduce prescribed narcotics by a lot and given me a quality of life again (i was tired all the time on high doses of narcotics). glad to hear it's working for you regarding your issue-hope you heal up soon.

@whitebb2727 i don't think anyone serious about pain relief will give you any crap, we all react differently to different strains. interesting you find that the autos provided you more relief.

I think it has to do with more cbd and CBN. I'm sure there are other cannabinoids that ruderalis has higher amounts of.

Try a Buddha auto variety pack. $50 for a pack of ten femenized. Its worth it. I don't have much experience with autos but out of what I have tried those were the best.
oh, i'm just thinking about it since the whole pain thing was mentioned but i'm not to the point where i'd spend money on autos. :-P i've got some that i've hung onto though that were freebies that could be good. i'll have to dig them out and do some research on them. i will definitely keep your suggestion in mind though if some experiments with the freebies turn out well.

Sorry, not sure I understand the question...I was not smoking the last week because the pain had me feeling noxious and tired. Just not buzzworthy.

Gotcha. The thing with autos, they are hit or miss. The ones I've had have been really good or really bad.

yes, that's what's put me off on them...well, the ruderalis mostly but given the light requirements and that they can be hit or miss, it has always seemed like it would be a waste of the little space i've got to work with. maybe next year, i'll work one in to a run when my jars are all filled up. maybe it would even be worth it to spend the $50 to give it a decent try...

One of the Buddhas I had was frosty as hell. Stunk lime you would not believe. You could open the jar and stink a house up. Try to pop one or two when you veg.

Skiing at Wolf Creek Pass in a blizzard and went over a cliff. Broke my back in 5 places. This was in 1981. After I had to move from my apartment in Durango for yelling at little kids (fucked up on Percodans) I resolved no more pills. I have smoked since I was 14 (1966) and decided that is how I would handle it. I have had rotator cuff injuries and surgeries too. Worse pain than the back. I feel for you, buddy.

That said for pain try World of Seeds "White Rhino X Mazar".

Wow. Reading your story made my falling off a ladder, real boring although my arms feel better in an it could be worse kind of way... So thanks. :). Yeah, I like to think I handle pain better than most but this incapacitated me. Did get steroid shots and the lidacain they mix in has given me some good relief, yesterday Hopefully that will be all. They swapped a PA in for the Dr I was suppose to see and he seemed competent but ...
