So i blasted a 12 pack of lucien 5x brand butane and about 11 ounces of trim, i did have to repack tubes once, and it was about 85 degrees outside with very high humidity. The stainless steel tubes were cleaned with iso prior to use, unbleached coffee filters (2), into a new pyrex cleaned with iso and dried prior to use. So after the oil started to bubble and thicken It was obvious of the amount of water in the pan and i wish i had pictures of that but i was actually able to dump out 100ml or more of water after moving it onto the silicone into the purge. I allowed it to boil down as usual and then whipped it a few times then put it into the purge. I noticed at 90 degree that the oil was still very very wet and bubbling even after 6 hours of purging at 27.5hg , i then stepped upto 110 slowly by a few degrees for 8 hours with not much reaction. Finally i decided to go to my max heat of 120 and pll the purge over night. I come back to what you see, somewhat of a darker wax consistency that still seems very moist. And a very sticky bubbley protion i whipped and put into the purge with no heat. Id like this to either go to crumble or shatter but not wax. Any input is appreciated.

Water condensates into your pan if your blast that much butane in that high of humidity. The only thing I ever was able to do was to microplane it into tiny pieces (like full melt) and dry it or the moisture will never come out.

If you have a good sized silicon pad could just fold it over and use a rolling pin or something to thin it out. easier than microplaning and after you roll it out and purge then roll more it will start to become crumbly. Has worked for me in the past.
