haven't tried any yet.. shit was still piping hot going into the jars..
the garden's just about finished for the year though.. i mean, i still have a few tomato plants pumping out tomatoes, and the pepper plants always seem to go till first frost, but the cucumbers and squash are done and finished for another year..
I tried canning some pepper rings last year at first trying the water bath method but it cooked the peppers too long and they came out all mushy. So I said fuck this safe canning procedure shit and just cut the peppers up, put them in jars, boiled the vinegar with a little canning salt and some dill, filled the jars up with vinegar and put them in the fridge, they all sealed up. I read they were safe to eat for 2 months like that and I was still eating them 6 months later and they were great

My wife sad that the tomatoes aren't putting out to much fruit like they were in the beginning. Garden still looks vigorous but just less fruit.

And why did she pick the habanero while still green. They are spicy but I was waiting for so long. . Wifey wifey smhIMAG0143.jpg

I really need to consider doing more than a little herb garden next summer. Growing all sorts of peppers, tomatoes, etc. looks great! Awesome pics to all. :D
