welcome to RIU @jeffrey r

the graphic @cassinfo has provided is right on-i run a 400W and keep it about 12-15 inches from the top of my canopy. your temps are high at night-was that a typo?

ETA: why do you have your HPS running at 50%?

at this stage, turn off your HPS and run them under CFLs or a T5. i don't use rockwool but until someone comes along that does, i'd leave them alone. they do seem to need to be tucked in a bit more, but leave them be for now and get them under a different light source. you're wasting energy using your HPS at this stage.
you need to get your temperatures under control if they are that high when you run your HPS at full strength. do you have negative air-flow in the flower area? fans? vent?

i have a fan that sits in there and one in the window, was going to make a homemaid duck that goes to the window to suck air out. also i put a MH Bulb in i heard that it is better, what i have been doing is putting them outside during the day, and then putting them under the light(hps) at night.

also how dry do i let my rockwool cubes get before i rewater them, and when should i put them in the dwc buckets?

you're not letting them have a dark period? putting them outside and bringing them back inside--that sounds like a good way to bring in bugs to your grow room. they're seedlings, they don't need MH or HPS at this stage. you can certainly expend the energy for MH but running them under a T5 (or CFL) when they've just sprouted is suggested. i'd wait to put them under the MH until they're three/four weeks or so if i had the room to do it that way.
as far as rockwool is concerned, you'll need to do some research and wait for someone to come along for those issues. hang in there-it can start out a bit overwhelming with all the information out there, but you'll be smoking your own before you know it. :blsmoke:

Undercovergrow is right, too much light at this point, it's just a waste of power and at those temps not good. When I first got my 400 and was new I dried out/burned up my seedlings doing the same thing that you are. Get a few CFLs or even put by the window until they are bigger.

most people recommend 18/6 to veg and 12/12 to flower. i run my veg tent 16/8 and my flower room 11/13. as @FrostyPelican said, since these have just sprouted, you could put them in the window for a few days until you get some CFLs or a T5.

i have a CFL in my closet. above my grow light, there also is a shelf there, how close should the light be to the plant?

I think you need to do some googling....way to many questions that you can find yourself in minutes...why wait all day for someone to answer?

@jeffrey r did you soak your rockwool in water ph'd to 5.5? You should have started in a rockwool plug like this

or like this (the pac-man style is more for clones)

These go into the hole of the bigger rockwool cubes like this

When you see roots at the bottom of the rockwool cube you can put it in your dwc bucket. Fill the bottom of the net pot with grow stones(about an inch or two). Then add water to the 5 gallon bucket till it comes just to the top of the stones. Now you can set your cube on top of the stones and it will wick water up from the stones. As the plant gets bigger you fill the net pot with more grow stones around the rockwool cube.

You should try to keep temps in the mid 70's, I target 77 degress. I would definitely put it under the cfl for now, like everyone else has said, you're wasting light and money using that 400 right now(even @ 50%) Keep the cfl at around 4 inches while the plant is still white like that and move it closer as soon as you see the first set of true leaves. Try to keep it at about 2 inches away after that

@wiethe20 is right as well, it sounds like you need to do a lot of reading. I would read all the stickies and google similar grows, follow members grow journals(dwc grows of course) Also, youtube is your friend

Good luck and happy growing
:peace:
