Hi, I have a little grow house with high lumen output CFL's and soil mix. I only have 3 plants from seed. 1 GSC, 1 Ogre and 1 unknown Mexican seed. all in flower room now. I've heard that water sugar is good for them..have anybody tried that on their plants???
please advice

I've used molasses for organic grows, but it's easy to add too much and can lockout other nutes... I've switched to bud candy and it works better..

FUCK AN!

Be very careful about people who come on and say short things like that......Most likely paid shills for AN!

Molasses is just fine and supplies other nutritional elements to the soil that you can't get from "Bud Candy".....Just don't ad more then a Tbl a gallon and you'll be fine......Start out at 1tsp per and go from there.

Many folks around here do not like AN for their overblown claims and how they market their products to simply make more money...They don't care about your plants - They care about their bottom line!

You don't need boatloads of overpriced products to grow the "fire"....

Oh and btw, too much "sugar" of ANY kind can start fermentation. That will cause an anaerobic condition in the soil and can kill the plant.

I have a full flower lineup coming from AN to do a side by side with my current nute setup (technaflora). ill see if their full of shit or worth a shit. ive been running technaflora for 4+yrs, so I know that brand very well. im dedicating 4 glue pots to AN in the side by side. maybe ill just do 2 in case im disappointed with the results. lol

I currently use botanicare Sweet RAW. cheaper than sugar daddy, slightly more potent (10 ml/gal vs 15 ml/gal), same sulfer amount. I don't use molasses any longer.

$65.00 dollars a gallon for Sweet ???? From basic chemistry and math I came up with this home made "Sweet Raw".....Costs less then a buck a gallon!!! I adjusted the formulation and feel this works BETTER!

8 TBL Epsom salts
1 1/2 tsp DARK BROWN sugar
1 gallon RO water
1 opaque gallon jug

Bring 4 cups of the water to a rolling boil
Add the Epsom and the DBSugar
Boil for ,, oh 3-5 min stirring constantly

Pour the hot liquid into the opaque gallon jug with the other 12 cups RO water already in it and shake well to mix....

Bingo! $1.00 a gallon *new and improved* Sweet Raw.....

As for the AN,,,,,,what ever..........I've tried so many nutrients - Either on my own or as a tester....
The 2 best in my book
HESI
CANNA

Other then Dyna Gro. These are the easiest ones to use and give the best results out there.....Cyco is nice but like AN, overpriced and too many things you "have to" have....

I haven't played with synthetics in a while but I still get products from makers to try.....Hell man I just got a quart bottle of something from Humboldt to try.....MICRO I think it is......Yup went and got it.....Your supposed to use this with the grow and bloom like the G&H 3 part......Now why did they not send the other 2 ?? Sometimes you just have to scratch your head and say WTF ?
5-0-1 npk To bad it's not organic. I would have a use for it then........One of my employees uses Humboldt.....I'll give it to him and have him write a report on it......That's what Humboldt wants....

I get gallons of Molasses for 18.00
I don't use it but in making teas anymore......12 bucks for 600gr is kinda dumb eh?
In my area its hard to obtain, so i have to pay a $8 shipping fee which comes out of the total $15

your missing a key ingredient, sulfer.
WRONG!
Epsom is magnesium SULFATE !!!
Not to mention the sulfur in the molasses in the DB sugar !!!

Now take a look AT the label on the Sweet Raw = derived FROM mag sulfate!

Like I said. I came up with this formulation from a variation ON Sweet Raw "and knowledge of basic chemistry".
