Career Change!!!!

Greetings fellow RIU members, over the last 6 years I have put pretty much ALL of my freetime into studying cannabis (even with the govt not allowing research theres so much good data to consider!) and its healing effects on the mind body and soul. Over these past 6 years i have grown perpetually shifting from soil to coco and ultimately we ended up in water. Ive been growing hydro for 4 years now and would love to come out of hiding, im a young man with dreams of caring for my sick mother and providing a better life for ger during her final years.

Growing on the eastern side of the us is a great difference from growing on the west, firstly due to legaliy. Every day that i come home i look for barney swarmin my home, i imagine my innocent old lady who ive been with for 3 years with multiple felonies and handcuffs. My beautiful pit bull whom is like my daughter would be shot and killed, and on top of that id never be able to do what i love!!!! How can a tbousand miles be such a huge difference,?

Either way, im on a mission. 8 and 10 dollars an hour is an insult for me and harder to move on. I am looking to move to the west, help grow to improve the qualiy of whoevers life for whatever reason and pursue my passion in horticulture.

Living on the east, i never want to even post pictures, because theyvso worried about this shit in some areas its sickening, being im merely two block from the boys in blue, i have the right to be a little nervous.

I do handle it well, blending in with society. A perfect smile and a stern handshake can carry a man a long ways, but its getting hard. Every harvest i wanna pack it all up because i get nervous, either way. Im on the way, just need a little insight, how hard is it to find someone (landlord) who is cool with growing? Any of you lookin for a grpw room bitch temporarily? Clearly my knowlege will take me further,, just need to get it going. Thanks RIU.

As for growing. I have friends who grow in their little 1 bedroom apartments. Just have to get a good feel for what type of landlord it is, set up a little tent and hope to god he doesn't want to come by for anything so you don't have to tear it down..but even then it's not the end of the world.

You can go the warehouse route. Getting a cultivation plan for 99 plants. Sort of cheap out here. But then you're still in the same landlord situation

well that's answered, looks like he's a piece of shit troll... They are out there shooting dogs as soon as they bark at them and yes there's a video I don't feel like finding where a cop shoots a guys golden retriever that's wagging it's tail bothering nobody just to get at the guy. King, thank you. I had no idea what these "permits" were called. I am going to a little more research on it, as i plan on making the trek to Washington State tax time. I am beyond excited as well as nervous, its a hell of a move!

So pit bulls don't bite people? There's a kid down the street from me w a plastic elbow.... An old lady got murdered by two of them in my grandma's front yard and I had one charge me and my daughter while walking down the street one day.... Ive been there as i currently use a tent. Insurance inspection and i was in week 6. Packed it up moved at night 30 miles out of town. Stinkbud System 4 rails. Stressful week for myself and the ladies

Thats my failsafe, warehouse would be more my thing, maybe a shed to start. Investors seem to be out there, so im not all too worried about the funds, it will work itself oout.

Hey OP. Just as youve done your research on growing i recommend you put the same effort into finding a 420 friendly landlord. Check their newspapers craigslist etc. Even post ads. Eventually something will give for you. Even if 100 people refuse you maybe that next person will be your godsend. Good luck brother.

Pit Bulls, contrary to popular belief are good to have when you have children in the house. But IMO Y'all pit owners who think those pits are gonna be enough to stop someone out to harm you or police i dont know. I have two herding dogs that will sit at my door and if someone so much as steps through my driveway they let me know. Theyre hella smart too and probably wont pick a fight they cant win. It gives me a chance to react which is all i need.

I feel you OP,, I'm on your side I guess I've been there. Dont have such a hard ass attitude about it though man.. its fucking legal in some states! My neighbor came over the other day and asked me if I was growing. I told her, "yes." and she said.

"hell yeah"

Just know that you cant just move somewhere and grow bud and sell it. No where.
Maybe in Cali you could get a med card and sell it to dispensaries Ive heard. If youre going to do it theres a lot of people here who grow it and push it out of state. Up to you still a felony anywhere.. most states require you to have 2 year residency (actually all I think, oregon changed their policy sometime around May iirc) before you can apply for a license. and you gotta have loads of money. its bullshit and they are doing their best to suck off big canna here in colorado but hey, i cant complain too much I guess. what im doing is growing what I can and making hash with it hopefully. and i want to use my experience as a homegrower to get a job growing locally legit with a badge.

oh and hey consider single wide manufactured homes with garages. if you find one with a detached garage you are a lucky dude. they only have 100 amps of service however so prepare for that if you think youre just gonna go all out.

Back on the pit thing, my lil girl isnt there for anything, juat a part of my family. I dont even own a gun, no violence.



Anyways that 2 year thing is new, and basically... movin somewhere that its legal so i can cultivate and sell it illegally!

However i would like to keep my name cpean and clear, for i plan on starting one of these legitimate operations.
