Hi...Been there, and I just flowered with the 6500k bulbs I had.It took longer,butt it worked for a broke mofo.Enjoy trying new things...

Got my first t5 grow started 2' 4 bub going to try and add 2 8 bulb fixtures one on each side of my tent before flower

I have T5 for me they work from veg to flower...

New guy here, got a good deal on a whole used setup, started them under a 4 bulb t5 and they were nice white bulbs. After transplanting needed to cover more footage so I started hanging several more that came with it. Most of there however were more yellowish, some even a red hue. Are these flowing bulbs? Does it matter? Thinking about checking ballasts to make sure they really are t5s... Most of the bulbs I can find it printed on it

Are philips ballast, better, then workhorse. Just rebuilt my t5 setup. As I bought parts when I had money. $80 on ballast, $ 15 on sockits, lights where free.

Im back at it after a year brake, formerly known as intenseneal. Moved into a new house and i have a new grow setup. 4x4x6 tent same 8 bulb t5 ho 4ft light and for flower adding 2 led pendants for flower. All bag seed started 4 weeks ago in rapid plugs in a dome under 2 23w cfls, 2 GDP bag seeds, 1 bubba kush bag seed and 1 unknown bag seed.

T5 start to finish.

Nice what bulbs you run for flower? I just use 2700k.

Hello everyone. wow love the pics and setups. I have a 2ft x 4 bulb T5 light. I was wanting to know would that be good enough for a 1 plant scrog inside a 32x18x32 tent? Or would that size light just be good enough for starting seeds and vegging? I am looking to grow 1 plant just as a hobby type of grow for the winter.

That light is better for a small veg seeds and clones. You can add more t5 or cfl lights in flower.

Just flipped 12/12 about week ago. I run 50/50 mix of bulbs.

This time going to run as close to 3:1 ratio of reds and blues in my t5 fixture. My last setup was a closet and i had a bunch more 24 inch t5 single strips on the walls down lower for the lower growth. This time no side lighting so we will see if that effects my flower growth.

havent been able to find any t5 fixtures around?
looked at home hardware and rona, no luck on 4-8 bulb t5 fixtures
Any one point me in the right direction?
