new mg products

I just picked up a new bag of miracle grow product.

Its called natures cure and its omri listed.

It has: feather, fish, blood, and bone meals. Wheat middlings. It has 6 different bacillus in it.

Its rated 3-4-2 and 2% calcium.

I'm going to try it on a few vegetable plants and see how it does.

Miracle Grow is cashing in on the organic movement?

Or... we've done our job choosing(purchasing) organics, and Miracle Grow is responding to demand in the marketplace?

The label omri is very misleading. So is the term organic. In my opinion it's not organic for the simple fact that 99.9% of MG product is bad chemical.
But sure it could be organic, everything in a capitalist society can be packaged up and sold

So you'd rather they didn't even bother? MG making an OMRI listed doesn't show and will not cause any sort of progress?

Kudos, but let's be honest, I have no illusions about the intent and purpose. $$$ they don't give a $hit about doing anything because it's the "right" thing to do. That's all I'm saying.

Yezir. That's it right there. I just can't support a company that is responsible for promoting/selling so much weed killer and other nasty chemicals.

The product could come with a leprechaun inside the bag that trims all my weed for me and I still wouldn't buy it.

It is what it is. I'm not saying its the best. I use a lot of organics, mostly local. I have room to do so. This might be the product that helps people get their feet wet in organics and move on to bigger better things in the organic world.

mg has toxic sludge in it. That's the chemical compost they put in there.

monsanto also makes chemical weapons. Been making them since world war II. Edt,,agent orange, etc...

For that I'd be glad to wear their logo hat and t-shirt any time I'm smoking.

I am totally against monsanto and Miracle Gro because of the poison they carelessly spread across the world that kill fish and birds(Particularly storicide #2)Although i have been seeing more MG organic stuff popping up at big box stores. I'm curious to see how there OMRI products stack up against say DTE is there blood meal anymore organic then MG?

Not like it means anything though. You got to remember most organic people will say its not organic unless you make it or compost it. Most organic people are very preachy and look down thier noses at you unless your doing things just like them.

Yeah pretty much most organic people are closed minded hippies sure I compost and use organics but I will use chemical nutes all I damn well please it's the same damn shit just more readily available for the plants to uptake. I support MG more so than Advanced Nutrients that treat every weed grower like a fucking idiot talk down on General Hydro and then copy their formula for Jungle Juice like we are all a bunch of idiots or some shit. I use Jacks Classic myself $40 bucks I got 2 4 lb tubs that last over a year and gives buds as good as any canna specific nutrients I've tried and it's been a few. Compost is used outdoors but when they hungry they get Jacks Classic I treat garden plants same as cannabis plants basically works great for me but you can't win with majority of organic growers even though their plants ain't as nice most of the time.

It is what it is. I'm all organic. I also know that preaching about it all day long is pointless. I just got better things to do than worry about how others do things.

I have no quelms about eating food grown from synthetic ferts. I prefer organic. What I have quelms with is the overuse and improper use of synthetics to the detriment of the land. I have quelms about toxic insecticides.

I know, I'm rambling. I'm finished. Lol.

I won't be using the Miracle Grow Organic stuff.

But since it's been on the market, things I would use, like EWC, neem meal and rock dust are getting easier and easier to find in my area.

Closed minded hippies? Damn. This is a bit unfair. Maybe you just haven't been meeting the right hippies. And as far as miracle grow. Maybe this is closed minded but not a remote choice for me. Same for any bottles nutrient sources. I do use bio-tone in some cases. Mostly for the bacteria and fungal content.
Some people do strange things. But. Ime there is hands down no comparison between a complete living organic grow and virtually all bottled or premade nutrient sources. But the style of growing can be difficult and takes practice to perfect ones method. And there is a difference between "growing organically".and a true living soil. So. That being said many of us organic hippies don't really care about snything but environmental impact chem weed growing has. With medical and pushed to legalize its going to become a even bigger problem. And hey you may find some people who know what they are doing someday and change your opinion about chems. It is not the "same damn thing, just more readily available for the plants". This is maybe the most untrue statement I've seen in orgsnics section In a long time.
