Ready to flush and think about harvest?? DNA Genetics: Tangilope

I have a DNA Genetics Tangilope on day 65/66 of flower now, shes been pretty thirsty and I have pushed the nutes up to around the 1800/1900PPM range.. She has been taking around 7l of solution per day comfortably, I flush every time I change the solution for the whole grow cycle.... But I am finding the last 2 or 3 days the PPM to stay the same or rise slightly now, but the PH is coming in around 6.7PH, when normally it is around 5.5-5.8 after taking most of the solution and topping up with water (Tap water - but PPM comes in around 130 and its fresh water, so generally it´s ok). So I have started a flush again today..

I have a jeweler scope, not 100% sure on the magnification exactly, but it is difficult to make out if the trichomes are clear or cloudy, seems to be a halfway house. No real sign of Amber trichomes (but again, difficult to see), but obviously I am looking for a mostly 'milky' or 'cloudy' harvest.

Here is a pic of one of the colas, Il try post some more tomorrow when the lamps off as can´t really see anything with them on.

:tangi.jpg

Some of the lower colas look a lot riper though and almost look ready to smoke with almost 100% orange hairs lol, however some of the biggest colas have a fair few white hairs on the tops (there is about 32 colas, scrogged), quite a few of the lower fan leaves are starting die off each day now with other leaves yellowing.... It states a 9 week harvest, so I am wondering with white pistols and a lot of clear trichomes to keep going and put her back on nutrients after this flush or just to continue to flush the next few days and starve whilst monitoring the trichomes??

I have not done a grow in about 4 years so lacking a bit of confidence when to chop her and stop feeding.

Thanks ppl!

She looks fantastic. You don't want her to look all brown and crusty and nasty if you stop feeding do you? Just reduce what your'e giving her but stick with your ratios. 1900 PPM is very aggressive. I'd just cut that by about 1/2 if not a little more. She looks about done too.

Thanks for your comment Dude, generally I don´t take it above 1400/1500PPM as a safety measure and rule of thumb, but hey if she is taking it, give it! I was putting 1600 PPM in and it was dropping by 300+ over night and nearly emptying the res in consumption.. I only got the slight burn on the tips in the last few days. Just taken a PPM reading now on this flush earlier and PPM has gone up 1200 from 130 on about 5l of consumption, so I will top up later with water and then put another weaker solution through :)

OK here is some some pictures of a couple of different sites, and a fuzzy overall shot (sorry my phones not the best when you step back a couple of feet lol) gives an idea of the size/health, whatever. I literally can´t keep up with the feeds as she drinks so fast before I get a chance to see her, which isn't a bad thing I suppose lol.. Anyway this evening I should be able to put her on a another feed of around 800PPM your suggesting?

I have not had the temps ideal really also as it´s summer and ridiculously hard to control here, my space was a bit rushed to get going again after years too which does not help... But it does not seem to have affected me too much this time around luckily.. I have posted another thread with some questions about improving the area as I will be reducing my cab size to a smaller area!

Please see the thread here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/from-tent-to-wardrobe-temps-lighting-setup-noise.878601/ - any help is much appreciated, bit out of the know ;)

Thanks again

Here was my tangilope I ran last year:

1.7-1.8 EC like I always do with most any strain, in most any system.
1800-1900 ppm's? Holy shit!
Anyways, I always lower the EC to around 1.1ish for the last 7 or 10 days. Works fantastic. The plants just don't use that much in the end. But that doesn't mean starve them either;-)
