seedlings have started going yellow?

Hi everyone.
These two are white widow x bb and ive noticed that the bigger one is going yellow in the middle of its to first leaves?? There 4 days old now. This happened after i had put them into the rock wool. I presoaked the rockwool in water that was 5.8 PH for at least 2-3 hours. I am running a 80 CFL daylight bulb atm while there growing and then they will be going into a 600watt hps grow tent after the second week. I didnt water them when i put them in the rock wool because they looked like they were still damp but when i checked this morning the rock wool was dry so i watered them. Im using the water from the bucket that i soaked the cubes in so im not running any nutes yet. They sit about 10inches away from the light.IMG_0507.JPG IMG_0505.JPG

lay back on the water now if you have roots, it don't have to be super wet now, looks just fine if you have her rooted put her in what ever medium your using, she should be just fine... Good Luck :)

Hey Smokin how do the roots look ? are they nice white and a lot of them yet ? Usually to much moisture causes that Yellowing, But could be a small nitrogen def. you can Try a very small amount if the roots look good and strong, Just from My experience its always been to wet in my case and they always seem to start to yellow I quit watering at that point and they come back it takes a few days, But if its been 3 or 4 days now you may want to try a bit of Nitrogen, Well I sure hope in short time your ladies Perk Up and You can stop worrying about losing your Ladies, I know that's a bummer if that were to happen, Good Luck my Friend, CHEERS :)

Bro you never put a jiffy in a rw cube. The yellowing is overwatering, the seedlings are starved for air and jiffys work best when they can dry more between waterings. Atm they cant dry at all giving you the drooping and yellowing.

thanks guys. The tap root was nice and white and sticking out the bottom so that's why i chucked them in the rock wool. I will let them dry a bit before i water next and see if that helps. If the yellow is still there should i give them there nutes? Ive got the 3 part flora nutes and on Tuesday they will be a week old.

Hey bear they sure are! it was definitely way to much water as now there getting a lot bigger and getting green again!! they were pretty dry today so i gave them a little water but instead of pouring it over i let the rock wool suck a bit of it up. that way it wasn't soaking the peat pellet. The one that was yellowing has started poking her roots out the bottom of the rock wool already! so time to put them in the system today. I was thinking of having my watering timer set to 15mins every 2hrs. Would this be to much?
