I run RDWC in 27 gallon tubs, my recirculation feeds waterfalls that run in every tubsite. No airstones/lines/pumps required, plants love it, simple, done.

I just switched recently from the 5 gal drip to 13 gal with sprayers and misters . I am still trying to dial in the new system so I have not been able to duplicate repeated results like I could with the drip rings although I see potential to top things. If you are looking for a tried and true setup that works as long as you are doing things correctly the drip ring in 5 gal buckets is a solid setup.

Does the pump run continuously or do you have set to run on cycles?
I am trying to do this exact thing right now but was thinking of cycling like I do with my E&F systems instead of running all the time.

can you share the plans or a how-to for this system? im a huge fan of simple and i have been looking for a new system that is designed for fewer, larger plants to try out.

I run stacked totes with 15 spray heads in smaller upper tote, no standing water in the upper, just a cont/timed spray. There doesnt seem to be a difference in growth re spray cycles after root mass established. No air stones required, seems to be a very stable setup. The upper tote has a 3" drain to the bottom tote and waterfall adds DO to bottom tote.
