I have a 2 foot 8 bulb t5 setup maxing out at 193 watts. Its using 4 6500K bulbs and 4 3000K bulbs. I have roughly 24 inches from top of soil to bottom of reflector and right under the reflector I'm hitting about 88-90 degrees and halfway down I'm around 82-86 during the middle of the summer 115 degree heat outside.
I know i can LST to keep it down but would running the 3000k bulbs keep them shorter or would that impact overall veg growth in general and not be a good idea for max plant potential? Wondering if i should go 8 6500K bulbs for veg or not then add in the 3000K when i flip.
Thanks in advance
