I got an oz of some really good lemon haze from a buddy, but this batch came out smelling like hay. Now this is long after its been cured (few months) I know it should have been cut down later or cured slower, but that's not my question. My question is:
is there anything I can do NOW to get rid of that horrid smell, I got them for really cheap because of the smell so I'm trying to see if I can do ANYTHING to bring the smell out.
I hate the smell so much I'm about to get a tasty puffs blueberry bottle and just put a drop or two in the bag and shake it up, unless you know of any other ideas!

You might try sealing the buds up with another herb like rosemary or mint. Leave them together for a while and then take the buds out and see if you like the smell better. If you add a little tobacco to the flowers when you smoke it, that might help... if you don't mind the tobacco taste.

ive had buds that i hung up next to a fan after cutting them and they still smelled like hay forever and a day after being bone dried and then stored. i always assumed its cuz im impatient and cut early. from now on they all get 10 weeks minimum

It is very possible to cure buds that are still moist the moisture is not the key . you want the buds a little moist u just gotta burp those girls enough to prevent fungus. when you harvest any flowers early I mean any plants that bear fruit as well your product will be shitty because like the other guy said have you ever ate an unripe piece of fruit it's shit for taste and smell. How about this tip don't count your flowering cycle until the first pistols appear that is day one until then you are on day zero.

Its cause u put it infront of a fan. Or it could be u didn't burp enough

You can get away with early harvests on most sativas but indicas have those short flowering periods so you have to let them finish all the way . If you desire the racey buzz then just grow the sativa dominant strains.Stop pulling early and please stop flushing the goodies from your organic gardens leave that shit to the irrigators organics grows water water feed no flush guys water water feed. not Feed Feed feed water feed. Good water not tap use reverse osmosis.

right on hellmut u know your shit, in front of the fan that dude was nuts lol but it's just a learning experience. I have never failed growing with Jorge's bible though. that book could teach a monkey to grow.

Word to the wise even if u got a pound hanging never put a fan directly on your shit it's not really for drying just air circulation . I have dried plenty of harvests with no fan just a really cool room in about 5 days with no disturbance to the buds no light damage just leave them alone for 5 days everyone wants to peek in and look and feel just let nature do it's thing that's the magic people are overly anxious after the grow and it kills the quality of their hard work every time peace out. I got grape gum ripper seeds 5 weeks left into flowering. next I'm coming with white berry from VIP seeds and probably a lemon kush so that she doesn't get lonely.

He knows lol. He didn't grow it, nor harvest it nor cure it. He's just asking about what he can do NOW.
