norcal is getting dangerous, who knows how much longer the outdoor growing is even going to last with the drought in cali. you think its going to be the same 10-20 years from now? even the towns off the 101 have turned into tweaker towns. ive heard stories from people getting trim jobs out there and getting killed since you trim bud in the middle of fucking no where. nobody can hear you and nobody can save you.
Theres a shortage of indoor farmers right now. Patients are not getting their meds and its a sad state of affairs. Maybe they all got killed in the mountains like you mentioned.

Well I found a bunch for much cheaper than stated but only info on areas was from online people. Looking at oregon, just want a fresh start and go to school so MJ friendly would be preferable. Cali is another option as well thanks. Im not trying to stay in the MJ business at all, just be fun to experience it while Im in school.

Im looking on my own obviously, but any opinions on 2where I should look for housing\mj friendly?

Why do people constantly want to move to colorado. ...the boom is pretty much dead imo....
Following the news, yep CO is in the midst of a housing boom and is experiencing lots of growth from the vacationers right now. I would say that the boom is not dead, more so the MJ space is crowded. Still watching to see what happens to prices after the fall harvest. Also, there are lots of other areas where industry is growing.

@Kind Sir If you are looking to become a college student then you know you will have to do a lot of research to pass your classes. If you are seriously looking to move to CO I would suggest you delve into some news articles both new and recent to see what kind of employment is in demand. As others have said, there are plenty of people moving into CO to join the MJ sector. It does sound kind of bloated. I would suggest you also look on Craigslist and other sources to see what kind of jobs are available in the area you plan to move to. Obviously, since there is a housing boom, perhaps jobs in construction or construction materials delivery or whatever is available. Unfortunately, booms usually on last short term.

But def start reading up on the area. And plan on not being able to get a job that will support you in the MJ industry. Like another poster stated, if you only want to get into MJ also keep an eye on areas where MJ may soon be legalized. Get in at the start, not after it has grown to the point of perhaps borderline oversupply. I think at some point the MJ boom in CO will consolidate. And the weaker players may not make it. Just the laws of supply and demand. Good luck.

I got into opiates pretty bad and want to go to school, so im looking for a fresh start. I wanted to move to CO bc I have friends\some family there. I dont want to have a career in MJ just dabble in it while I go to school, it seems really "interesting" especiAlly cuz its totally illegal where I live..

Im not a huge smoker anymore, it gets me paranoid sometimes (partially cuz of my current grow op) and Ive very much enjoyed growing since I started!! Its a blast(pun INTENDED!)

I was looking at oregon, great temperatures are a plus. Ill take a look at craigslist. Plan was to save up as much as possible, and have a job before I move. Sorry to make another CO thread. I truly appreciate the comments trying to help. Thank you.

Since there is a housing boom in CO? Is now the time to buy property? Does anyone wonder if you own property now would be the time to consider capitalizing from your investment. Keep an eye on the trend. Rapid, overly enthusiastic uptrends sometimes lead to a big bust in investing. Think Vegas property circa 2008ish when the housing bubble burst. Coulda sold at the height of the trend and maybe purchased 2-3-4 times as much investment after the fall?

I dunno man. I certainly think CO is extended right now. But, I've been watching the stock market go into the most insanely hyped uptrend as I've ever witnessed. At least since the DOT.com pop.

Best of luck guy whatever you decide. Sorry bout your opiate decision. Hopefully you fought that battle and realize that's a terrible path in life. I fought similar addictions in my 20's and threw that out of my life at about 30.
