harvesting later tonight! drying/curing questions, bud shots, and other stuff!

Those look nice, shame you can't wait an extra few days.

That link also has other good responses on methods. I would try for 50% humidity. Mold doesn't like anything below 60. 55% is nice for a slow dry.
Thanks man!! About how many days short was i from peak maturity??? Will taste or smell suffer from chopping early? And the humidity i dont have much control over. It varies from 57-70% i have complete control over temperature though.

I did happen to read that andnd made sure to chop right before the night cycle ended. Im gonna bump my temps up to 70-72 and see if that helps a bit. Do i have to worry about mold problems if i stay under 80%rh and have good air flow?

Good air flow is the enemy of mold. You should be fine but make sure there's a fan and do what you can do to get it below 70. At 70-80 it will dry pretty slow.

At 10 am she will have been dryinf for exactly 3.5 days. At that time ill also been trimming off the bigger stuff and day 6 or 7 il be doing the final manicure then jars. My only question would be will smell come back? Only the leaves are dry so far and as of today it has a strong hay/fresh grass smell. Everywhere i read says its due to drying to quick or from wet trimming. I havent done either of these so who knows o_O

Also its been 3.5 days and the buds dont feel wet but they also dont feel crispy on the outside.its weird the buds feel nice and tight and compact and super sticky. Almost as if you could smoke it without a single problem already. Should i start curing now? It seems very early but i dont want to overdry the buds.

give it one more day. i have got some great buds on a cool 4 day dry in the coolest part of my house. Look it doesnt matter if you trim and dry or dry and trim over flushing and over drying is whats gonna effect the taste and fragrance of the buds. most people dont even burp right or keep the fresh bud in a cool place coool place not humid or hot these practices have not changed since men been growing its easy dont over complicate things its just weed and remember no two strains or phenos are alike . once a guy told me miracle grow soil wasnt good for growing cannabis.he was full of shit cause my shit is bomb everytime no flush. oh yeah if your growing in soil ya dont need to flush lol. that shit is for irrigation systems guys r flushing the gas right out of the buds such a shame.

How long should i burp and how often? All the posts about it usually are complete opposites. Do the buds come out of the jar or am i just leaving it open? Sorry for all the questions, im just trying to soak up as much info as i can my first grow.

Just some shots of the dried bud. Yield was 22.8g not bad for an early harvest and flowered 3 weeks after breaking ground, All cfl,and the countless problems i had along the entire grow :)

Il probably do a little touch up on the trim when i burp the jar. The rh has been solid at 68% for a few hours. Im curious as to how long i need to burp and how often to burp them to get that perfect cure.
