Found most answers to my random questions here on Rollitup, so I decided to migrate here from 420 Magazine. I'll be starting a journal but wanted to say hi. I converted a 3 x 3 x 8 closet, was going to do an "easy" strand for first grow, but couldn't resist the thought of a successful Sativa harvest. I'm a head guy, going up please. So far so good, five babies but I think I have room for only four. I'll do something with the 5th.

A couple pics..

Thanks! So I decided to transplant to 1 gallon fabric today. I used Solo cups for germination, but didn't like them much, decided to transplant today to 1 gallon fabric. Final pot is 5 gallon fabric and I wanted all the benefits of fabric now. Plus I'm new to the watering thing. More pics..DSC_0193.JPGDSC_0200.JPG DSC_0190.JPG

I'm getting details together for a journal, but wanted to post a few pics. exciting times! my babies seem very healthy, strong healthy stems, great genetics? these things are hardy and already giving off a beautiful scent. I've manged this! I haven't cared for anything living (other than myself) in some time, and def first time caring for plants, very excited and feeling blessed

A slow growing sativa, finally some more stems popping. I'm starting 50% Fox Farm Trio tomorrow, already found Cal Mag a requirement. Had what looked like early Cal deficiency, misting with 1ml and all is well

Okay last pics I know this should be a journal. Each day brings new growth now, they absolutely loved their first 50% feeding, no burn and nice color back to lower leaves. Love this :) _20150621_142226.JPG _20150621_141943.JPG

a late welcome to RIU! cool last picture on your first post @Six9 nice light-will check out your journal. subbed to this thread in case you keep posting here too. a long sativa grow-yay! i like the up high of a sativa just not the haze flavor that comes with it so i've been sticking with kush strains, though i do have a sugar punch in flower.
:peace:

Thanks! Yeah the light makes for an interesting look. Funny about sativa, after reading about them I immediately recalled the few times where I noticed an up high w/laughing off commercial, very very rare though with most commercial giving indica desribed buzz. Love me some up high so here I am. :)

I took one outdoors and am really digging the whole experience. For sure I'll be doing some outdoor landrace grows. ACE Malawi seeds arriving today. I'm gonna try at least two outdoors next season (as early as late March).
