According to the latest polling, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) presidential campaign has more support than the campaign of media favorites Scott Walker, Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and every other Republican candidate.

The latest Quinnipiac Poll revealed that five Republicans are tied at the top of the Republican field. Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Ben Carson, and Mike Huckabee each were at 10%.

Do you know who is more popular than even the most popular 2016 Republicans? Sen. Bernie Sanders. In the same poll, Sanders was supported by 15% of Democrats for their party’s nomination. Sen. Sanders trailed Hillary Clinton 57%-15%, but his fifteen percent made him the second most popular presidential candidate in the country.

The media treats Republicans like Carly Fiorina (2%), Ted Cruz (6%), and Rand Paul (7%) like they are serious candidates, but Bernie Sanders has two to seven times more support than these three Republicans. Why does the media treat Sen. Sanders like he is token opposition to former Sec. of State Clinton instead of as the legitimately popular stand alone figure that he is?

Because the media is owned by corporations owned by people who LIKE the fascist oligopoly as it is and DON'T want it to change. Expect Bernie to get the Occupy Wall Street treatment from Big Media for as long as they can get away with it- because of he wins, they lose. And, they know it.

Don't underestimate the power of (stupid) Americans to believe the lies they're fed thru the toob. After all, look what happened to the Occupy movement itself. That was a smear job of the highest order!

there was no true leadership.

that's what happened to occupy..but the fact that occupy has materialized en masse..proves marx theory was correct..nearly a revolution in it's infant stage..the people are rising up and saying no more..this is a way different century than the last..and we have way different people running the show not just means..but peasants.

and of course, we have our beloved millenials who's creed: it 'fair' or 'safe' for all involved?

i just knew giving everyone a trophy (everyone's a winner theory) would promote peaceful society didn't you?:wink:

but the good news? we know this..NOW IT IS UP TO US TO GET THIS COUNTRY ON A MORE EQUITABLE TRAJECTORY!!!!

don't be lazy people..1 bumper sticker = 12 votes..FACT!!!!

pada said it yesterday..the wealthy have so strangled our economy by not paying proper capigains and inheritance leaving the middle and poor to pick up the tab..spot on and in a nutshell!! this is our america..refusal to pay taxes commensurate to income.

This got added to after I 'liked' it- but I like it even more now!

Refusal to pay taxes commensurate to income, indeed. Let's enact progressive income taxes, especially on the one percenters.

However, we should start by prosecuting everyone for crimes related to the subprime scandal and claw the money back for the People, from whom it was stolen. THIS scenario is what Wall Street is the most terrified of, and they'll do anything to stop it.

So we need to be ready, ready to turn their massive advantage of money against them.
