Normally I would just soak bud like that, with iso, then use hotplate to boil off, coffee filters etc.

This time around, thinking blend up, freeze along with iso, soak for a few minutes then filter and let sit ontop of the hot water cylinder overnight to evaporate off.

How would you extract using iso?

Ummm 45 sec soak. Keep everything below freezing. Use mesh preferably 2 increasingly smaller then the coffee filter. Evap no heat, high cfm airflow. Once appears dry add low heat, for 4 hours..you could purge and scrape using a crockpot on keep warm even low setting, watch it...

I mean this isnt exactly how i do it by any means but will give good product

I do have metal sieve that I use, perfectly sits on top of my glass jars that I use. First filter before paper ones.

45sec's aye........quick....!

Do you recommend to extract the last little bit of iso from head? E.G, by using a spoon to push against the material while in the sieve?

What do you mean by "purge" - We just got 8 pieces of rump ends for the winter, and the missus wanted to use the crockpot today.......sorry girl......."I am doing man cooking"

Purge is just how we say remove any last traces..in all reality once its visibly dry, lost any multicolored creaminess and is translucent.. you get more iso in you just by making it, a sniff alone...

No dont do that, itll green it up. The trichs dissolve real quick into solution

Lol that threw me for a sec..im entering summer so you know..
Yea with ~2000 cfm at 77°f using a pint of 99%
From start to finish takes me 26-28 hrs

No!
What

Less cuts the better. If you have to open buds i would use scissors and keep everything in freezing temps
