yea shotgun racking is pretty much world wide known noise.
Ha, last year I had some tweak hit the alley behind my property line.He didn't make it more than 20 foot into the area behind my house before I was out there, dogs baying at him through the fence. I rack in a shell, level the 870, kick the surefire lighting system on and that guy couldn't leave fast enough. The neighbors at the end of the alley were watching over the fence. It was funny he was I've such a hurry he couldn't keep his bike going in a straight line. Huge arcs like he was trying to avoid being shot in the back. The neighbors laughed at him as he passed. This was like 2:15am

I had one try when i was in lodi. I just heard my dogs making noise so I called them over. They didnt come so I went over to them and there were two broken boards on my fence. It was dark so i thought the dogs broke them so I blocked it with my trash cans and went to bed. Next day fixing the fence I see blood and realize all my dogs were still in my yard and none were bleeding. Im pretty sure they came over the fence then went through the fence to get away as the dogs and barbed wire wouldn't let them get back over. There were a few blood drops leading out to the sidewalk and thete was blood on the broken fence. Im pretty sure it was a neighborhood teen as I didnt see him for about a week after when he normally rode his bike past a few times a week.

Not to be a party pooper, however I would like to caution everyone about brandishing a firearm....for what ever reason....DON"T DO IT...
Brandishing a firearm at a trespasser is a bigger crime than trespassing & will get you nowhere but into trouble. The only time you should show/brandish your weapon is in the act of firing. A firearm should never be used for intimidation purposes, they are a last & final resort....only
If a trespasser is on your property he is breaking the law...he's trespassing, only a misdemeanor. If you point a firearm at him & he feels threatened for his life, he then has legal justification to use deadly force to defend himself...don't pull your weapon unless your ready for a gunfight....

I was talking about a sound of a shotgun racking. Nothing more. ;)

I am curious to see how you do your carports. I am planning on a very similar setup - 8 150s in 2 carports.

I'm running 2 - 200 gallon pots under each 10' x 20' carport. It might get a bit crowed with 4-150's, but I seen @ doublejj do 8 or 9 100's in a carport, and we're lucky to get him back out of that jungle, thought we lost him in there a time or two....lol
