Has anyone tried the hyper fan stealth? Basicly it is hyper fan encased within a duct muffler. Yeah, it's $100 more than the regular hyper fan but it will be in my bedroom closet. Quiet is good.
EDIT: I couldn't find reviews on this fan anywhere, It's been out since at least 10/2014. They state that it is 15 db less that the regular which equates to 75% more perceived quietness.

Not i..
Greatest lengths im going is... I often would have inlaws or landlords etc over without notice.
Overlapped some duct tape so not sticky and lined the inside of the bedroom door, effectively creating a "dark" room

Get a few of them fans going and your gonna hear a hum no matter what.
Theyre really good if your just doing a tent or whatever

Would that be 25% less.. normally just over 60db

attach a variac speed controller from amazon and you will be super quiet and super stealth http://www.amazon.com/Variac-Variable-Transformer-300va-Output/dp/B006NGI8VS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1432911455&sr=1-1&keywords=variac+speed+controller

Bang for your buck...

Comes like this if your worried about stealth Nd paranoid...get it wrapped

Works great, good for 600's. Stressed if the only thing cooling 1k's and tent but have done it..

Life of a carbon filter is measured by many variables, mor e airflow could mean leaks, and just how did you measure airflow, do you own a wind tunnel?,

pocket anemometer, 40 quid of the bay . . .

Exact set up, just swapped the same sized and closely rated Rhino and Phresh filters . . . Phresh wiped the floor and I kicked the Rhino right in the c*nt and out the door, not seen hide nor hair of em since . . . . . now I must admit I had no way of comparing how clean the resulting air was

BUT

There's a very good article in a hydromag somewhere side by siding about 6 brands, Phresh came out with better results than I did . . . .

How long you been working at Rhino bruvva . . . .lol . . . .just kidding xxxx

Long and short of it, my tents are cooler and smell less for longer with Phresh, I've had years to work that out. Peace matey :)

enough of the banter,, here is my fan/ filter/ speed controller combo, and my carbon filter is a 50 dollar 6 inch mouth x 14 inches long stubby, bought it off ebay, it holds 7 pounds of activated carbon, and guess what, my 2 plants are in full bloom flower with frosty trichromes and you cant smell a thing in my bedroom, so guess what, you dont need phresh in order to have no smell, it just isnt so, you can get great results with home made carbon and the lesser cost carbon filters, simply pay attention to how many pounds of carbon are in your filter, verses how many plants your running, even home depot sales carbon filters for exhaust systems, I have used these, and they work great also, and they start at 40 dollars,,, these people pushing phresh filters seem fishy to me, use what works for you, build it if you need to save money, home depot even let me return a carbon filter once, no questions asked, here is the link to it http://www.homedepot.com/p/Viagrow-4-in-Carbon-Air-Filter-1-with-Flange-22-45-CFM-Exhaust-V4CF/203548977 IMG_7405.JPGIMG_7407.JPG IMG_7410.JPG IMG_7412.JPG

For sure, each to their own . . . . . as others out there, I have a Phresh that's just about to start it's third year, admittedly in my veg room, but without it the house would stinkorama!!! They do cost a little more, granted, but you really do get what you pay for imho . . . . peace green bruvva . . . . .
