Church is in love with led too so if he tells you its shit, it probably is. My experience in life with most everything is you get what you pay for.

Imo led is no good in general, but thats a topic for another time. Too many people get upset when I say that. I would say its definitely on the very low end of the price scale for led. There is just no way its a good quality light at that price

I've been growing a plant with a 50 watt and 25 watt cfl compact bulb. It's working pretty well IMO. Unfortunately I've had other problems though.

Don't........... order about 4 of the Vero 10 4000k's....you will stomp the Mars into a doorstopper....Mars are total ripoff again because.......they have inefficient usage of the diodes that make HPS of similar wattage look efficient...the "warranty" is useless and the parts used are usually garbage compared to what Cree or Bridgelux offers...Waste of time and effort...
Period...This from someone growing in small spaces going on 48 months....and I have used every type of f'ing light it seems for a small space...Cree or Vero cob, Don't settle for anything else LED wise.........This mars is the equivalent to Old Milwaukee Ice. :leaf:

Even being in AU, you should just build yourself a light, for the same cost....kill it with your own two hands kind of thing...character building an all that, building your own shit....

I've used mars-hydro 48x3 that grew some pretty decent buds, well enough for my own personal use anyway.. Now I got 400wVipar(200w real) with 5w blue bulbs, and I have nothing bad to say about it too, killer light with decent price aswell..
When the summer comes to Finland, I'll get some cheap ass chinese 50w(true) small panel for my cupboard, just to keep the temps in check.. Even the 80w Hanspanel worked perfectly for the wattage when I had it..
