I run 85 degrees for veg, 82 for flower and 74 for last week of flower. Sealed rooms. Plants couldn't be healthier. You need higher temps and an excess of light for plants to utilize the excess c02

Are you growing og? I rarely get under a gram per watt and I never let my room get in the 80s. And I'm able to get top donations at dispensaries . OP is paying 40cents per kW/hr so I'm assuming he's in the same state. Light burn or some hairy ass nugs aren't acceptable in Cali

One strain is an OG cross. Running Sour OG and Green Crack. Thank you for all the advice, any other advice you can offer me and my new room? I am a new sealed room grower, previously had a much smaller setup with exhaust and intake.

Nice, Green crack is a great yielder. Get that green cfl in there and peek in on your grow once a week to check humidity and temp during the night cycle . Get yourself a high temperature shut off as well, just in case your Ac farts up. Try to get your dehumidifier away from the canopy if it's putting off warm air. I normally run 800 Ppm co2 in veg , i bump it to 1000 first week of flower and then up to 1500 in the first 2 weeks of flower, I shut it off 5 days before harvest. Everyone has different methods of this, try some and find what works best for you. Best advise I give to any grower is to watch your run off religiously. If your run off stays proper ph and Ppm, and you have the right size container/ plant ratio and full canopy, your going to kill it . Your room Looks great dude I think you will do well .

I really like the dehum, sure there might be one a tad bit cheaper thats comparable but I bought mine for the great warranty as well as the energy efficiency compared to any others. Electricity is $0.40/KWH for me so efficiency is a huge deal for me.
Lol you must live in Orange County/ or sd area or something . I pay .33kw/hr and this is horrendous enough

Blue dream is my main staple(also run forum cut GSC and sour d). As long as the lights are not too close I never have light/heat burn, just huge frosty nugs.

Please don't take offense to this but location has nothing to do with what's acceptable or not. I can't get away with "mediocre" buds here either (east coast). I absolutely love Cali, but the worst bud and oil I have ever seen was when I was out their. There are good an bad growers all over the country. Location really doesn't play a role anymore.

You are some what right. But definitely wrong. There are tons and tons of bullshit growers that steal power and do 100+ Lights out here .. They don't give a rats ass about quality because they are growing an og and selling it for 2-2300 per pound . You see these nugs everywhere.. And people get confused calling this top shelf weed . But... There are a lot of true top shelf growers in California, and a lot of really nice nug. I have seen what the east coast and Even Colorado have to offer. The industry is still sub par what we have out. I could take something that is halfway decent and pass it as top shelf in Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Massachusetts, Colorado ect. In Cali, if it is not the best of the best, your not getting even in the ballpark of the amount of money your looking for and that is a fact. I am not putting you down as a grower . But I am saying , that my blue dream cut doesn't like the 80s .. And if I grew it in the 80s I would most likely be holding onto it for a very long time. Just so you know the ballpark... If your bluedream is not the best bluedream out there... You gettin 2-22 for ps from dispensaries in California, paying over .30 cents a kw/hr. That's why we have better growers here, because if your not the best, your barely getting by.

It's the exact same way here. If you don't grow top shelf you don't make any money. I can promise you my definition of top shelf is atleast equal to yours, I am a snob when it comes to flowers. There are great growers all over the country, being from a certain place doesn't make you a superior grower. We have horrible and great growers here, just like Cali, Colorado, Michigan and any other place you can think of.

Blue dream is a played out strain, so I hate even bringing it up. I've grown it for so long and it yeilds so well I just can't get rid of it.

Blue Dream is not even a top shelf strain here in cali any more. 4 years ago yea, after the diesel rush, then the head band hype for about a year. I think i quoted the wrong post from you. I agree though no fucking way on that Blue.

it's funny man. Everyone below us, in the valley, still grows BD. it's like, that's all they grow. Crazy! 10lbers all day yeah, but they sell for like 1000 a P. Fuck that.
Funny thing is, above them, where we're at, it's green cush(where it was created). Almost as huge of a yielder, but a lil better, IMO. You still wouldn't catch anyone of my boys loading up with BD or GC.
Shit,,,,,,we can't even blow shit up now around here. So, what does it matter now? :-(

Love blue dream. It's been my go to strain for 5 years now. Like it so much I included it in my name. (Dream'n). My cut has amazing bag appeal and flavor, not sure if it will ever fade out for me.
If I was you, I would continue to grow that beast of a strain also. Fuck yeah :hump:
Lucky!
