strong smell

I'm just looking for help and advice on how to mask smell of female plant goin into flowering indoor in small closet space

carbon filter, air fresheners, open window. ordered in terms of effectiveness lol.


if you have good genetics then nothing truly covers the smell come harvest time.

Don't think I could do a carbon filter in my set up this time round so I'm gonna try air fresheners like car ones that hang and the plug in ones and Just keep my window open it is summer

You wont be able to truly mask the smell without a scrubber. You can put in anywhere in the room, but to me its essential. I hang mine from the top of my tent connected to the duct fan. You can also set it on the ground with a duct fan on top.

yea carbon filter is essential, dont risk it dude

a good carbon filter is the best way if you can afford it

If you can't afford the carbon filter and the set up, you can order this odor masking agent called ona gel,it was used in sewage plants to mask odors I've been using it and it works awesome just DO NOT put the gel out near your plants outside ur grow room is best. It's only like 19 bucks for a quart of the stuff I'd really advise gettin it bro good luck

Lol car air freshness will do nothing. I tried all those diy ways to kill smell when I first started growing years and years ago.

One gel works to a point, but nothing besides a good carbon filter will get rid of the smell.

I've used ona gel for my small grow as well. I bought a couple jars and placed them near my closet (but not in the closet). If you put a small fan above the container of open ona, it will expedite the spread of the scent.

It does an okay job, but certainly doesn't solve you problem 100%. I too don't have a setup where a carbon filter is possible so I didn't have a choice

to strrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrress the point, go get a scrubber and you won't be sorry, otherwise your gonna freak.

A scrubber is a carbon filter with a fan attached

an air scrubber is a device that filters the air of pollutants and foul odors. they generally use carbon as a means of filtration. check out youtube vids and you can it yourself.

I wouldn't grow until you get a carbon filter. Much much risk you are putting yourself into. Medical or not.

Consider investing in a grow tent or make a diy box. Much easier to control air flow in a small space.
