Thanks man. Always appreciate it. I had em under 150 watt metal halide last night for a couple of hours. They both loved it. Well, I think they enjoyed the warmth mostly... Very explosive growth compared to CFLs. Wish I could upgrade to a 250, or even a 400, but can't cause summer is coming up and I've got space issues as is. The 150 keeps the meds coming, but I just wish I could offer them more ya know :P lol
My space is 34"x34" and I run a 250w with a 4" inline fan. Summer is still a bitch
but barely tolerable temperature wise. With enough ventilation and air movement, upgrading
could be an option for you.

Adding to what Stoney said, I run a 400W MH and HPS in my approx. 8 sqft X 6+ foot cabinet, that's about 3.5x2.5 feet. I use a cool tube and a 4" inline fan with a 6 inch inline fan, draw my air from inside the house so my temps stay moderate all the time. I am not sure what the size of you grow area but a 250W may work for you with a good vent system.

@stoneslacker

i see why you came to see my grow lol

buddy this town ain't big enough for the both of us Lol !! ;)

i started the hub early because of space as well as curious madness if this helps :)

nice plants btw:)
Cheers mainliner. Ya space was my issue as well, why the hempys and
training was a must. I like the mainlines but the scrog is more my thing.

Thanks for the compliment, hope your madness is fruitful.

I was cleaning out my storage closet to arrange it for the most recent harvest and found this little jewel sitting at the back behind the remainder of my 2014 jarred harvest. She was in this bag in a 4 oz herb jar with her own Boveda pack.
She is the final bud from my 2013 TGA Querkle grow. So I went back and viewed the pictures of her grow, wow, I am ready to do her again.
Last night was my G/F's and my 3rd anniversary of being together so we did a few bowls of her. Very nice cure as she was still very pliable, broke up into pieces not powder, had a wonderful burn, taste and high.

Here are a couple of pics of the final bud, earlier pics of her buds, and one pic taken just before chop.
Pre harvest, just before chop 12/9/13

Vacuum sealing the mason jars after drying and burping the sealed container for two weeks. Continued to burp the jars weekly for about a month and a half.

A bud after 5 months in vacuum jars

Loaded bowl, 5/5/15

Ready to burn

5/5/15 Last of the Querkle, Note the purple coloration is still visible even after all this time.

Going to miss her but I will be doing her again. I have been collecting the 3# Folgers coffee red plastic containers, they hold exactly 1 gallon. I figure I can get 18 to 24 of these cans in the cabinet comfortably depending on what kind of tray I can find.
So, give me some input, I am thinking of build a tray for this shelf. Any ideas?
20131023_121355.jpg

Using the Folgers cans with Coco Hempy's and have the table drain to one end an out of the box. I have looked and cant find any trays that I can fit in my cabinet without a lots of wasted space. I need a min of 24x42" depth would be nice at three inches. A 28x46x3 would be ideal! Now get out there and find one for me, LOL:bigjoint:

By the way the Black Widow is very nice, 4 bowls since 6:30 this morning and I am ready for a nap.

For a tray you could build one out of wood and spray it with a couple cans of that Flex Seal stuff, or use a couple smaller totes. I found this http://www.findnsave.com/offer/Office-Depot-Brand-Stackable-File-Tote-Box-Letter-Size-14-1-4-x-23-3-8-x-10-7-8-Black-Clear/41896919/ but might not give you the best use of your space.

The 9lb Hammer breeding run is over the longest pheno should be in jars tomorrow. This last wk I got the next round into their buckets, which are a mixed set of mediums, only because my loving wife has been churning out soilless terrariums over the winter and my mixed coco tub was a lot lighter than I expected. So here's the line up, back left going clockwise; 9lb clone (47 day pheno) C-99, 9lb clone (57 day pheno), Bubblegummer. All have chunky perlite in rez, back row all mixed coco around soil core. Front row Bubble is coco with a soil cap, the last is a soil capped perlite. This will most likely tax me since I'll have to use different amounts of cal/mag in each bucket.

Shot of seedlings for the next round Amnesia, and Afghan Kush Special

The front cup does have a sprout in it, but it was behind a couple of days in sprouting, and seems to have them runt characteristics.

it's a drag when you have different feed schedules and/or requirements....I have to write it down in the log book or I'll get all mixed up as to who got what and when

and sometimes them runts can be extra special...and sometimes not, as in case, the mini-DLF is doing okay but won't be winning any championships

Getting close over here. Seeds are developing nicely and I flushed yesterday,
looking to harvest in a couple weeks. That would put them about day 68.

The mini-mainlines are very close, just starting to go amber a bit. Still want to give
them a bit to fully ripen. Day 55

The scrog girls are coming along nice. The Purple Chedd and the Crit are both nearly finished, with the OG
still behind.

I found from the last grow of the mothers of these two phenos and from an email I received from MNS about this strain that I needed way more time. On the website they say they are 10 weeks (70 day) plants. After I harvested one at 74 days, did so to harvest on 4/20, and the second at around 80 days. I realize that that is not near enough time. I should have left them both for another 14 to 21 days. The first one harvested (3 zips) was fairly tight buds 12 to 16 inches long, but the fragrance and potency was not there and could have had tighter buds. The second one (3.25 zips) had very thin buds, very long and thin. The thing looked gooey and slick and I thought it was going to be the one. Just does not have it!
When I emailed MNS with pictures and comments I got a response from a rep saying that his favorite BW that he grew took 13 weeks to get tight budded and fragrant. But if I find that one out of all my seeds then I will never want to let the mother die.
I like that! bongsmilie

Both highs are good, hard to tell them apart, one has better fragrance, but not the meds I was expecting.

Ok I am @ 8 weeks of 12/12 with the two phenos of the Mr Nice Seeds Black Widow.
I have 4 plants of pheno 1 under my 400W HPS. I plan on harvesting these starting @ 10 + weeks the one plant at 11 +, one at 12 and one at 13 +. This will all be amber dependent, will not let them go over 25% amber.

Only going to show one pic of BW5, they all look the same, very very tall and thin.
It may be a problem with the LED I am going this group with, but I have grown some wonderful medicine with this light. I have contacted the company and waiting to see what they say about it.
Again this is 8 weeks into 12/12, this in not in the cabinet but in a closet that I cover the door to insure no light stray light leaks at night. This mother did the same thing in the cabinet grow, it was a lot fuller at this stage but she began to stretch again late in flower. It may end up on the compost pile, but I was impressed with the amount of gooey trichs on its mother, going to go ahead and grow it out for ever how long it takes. Going to give it 10% amber for the first plant to harvest then harvest one the next week and the last one the following week. Again, percentage of amber dependent.

SS,
Well I finely broke down and sampled the two Black Widows.

They are both very smooth, no cough at all, high comes on slow, you will think it is not working that well and do another bowl, big mistake, LOL. The exhale is also smooth. One bowl a good buzz, two bowls very long lasting high, three bowls you think you can take a nap, 4 bowls yep your taking a nap.
It is a long lasting and the medical effects you note right away, back pain reduced, no spasms. My son tested it with me, he got the giggles then got a bit paranoid, he is not a big smoker so he was good to test it on. After about 30 minutes he said "I feel really nice, and very very stoned." He also said that he felt euphoric and very happy.
On the negatives, the only negative I have discovered to date is a mild headache after a few bowls. Oh, and of course dry mouth, and dry eyes.

The two plants were different in growth pattern, one very sativa like and the other a bit shorter. The one plant takes forever to flower and it is very airy. Going to test it again today as I think buzz is a bit better. Have the two as mothers but am going to grow the others in hopes of finding that special one, that very special one.
