Need advice/help/criticism with 1st grow cab - pics

Aloha,
So Ive finally finished up my first cab. She's ugly and an obvious eye sore but it looks promising to me. Also, dosent need to be ninja stealth, but I cant have ducting running every which way. Test running with cherry tomatoes, habaneros, and jalapeños. I know all require different light cycles but its all for testing cab temp and noise level.

Cab dimensions: DxWxH - 1.7ft x 2.7ft x 5.5ft = 25ish ft3. x 3 (refresh rate) = 75cfm, base.
Add 5% for light heat (3.75cfm), 50% for summer heat+humidity (when it comes, 37.5cfm), and 40% for scrubber (30).

CFM needed for cab = 146ish.

But ignoring all that info, Im simply doing temp/noise checks right now.

Passive intake with 2 Tupperware boxes stacked, taped, and holed. No light leaks as i checked thoroughly. Passive intake size is the diameter of a CD-rom. Traced it onto the wall and crudely cut it out.

Full spec led panel, 180 true watts. (doors closed, no fans, temps get to about 35c..... I dont know if thats normal for a LED grow light or not... input welcomed)

Exhaust fan - Scythe Kaze 3000rpm hooked to ac-dc adapter

ghetto ass ducting- black felt glued onto windshield sun blocker thing, then rolled twice.
Fan is fastened inline via zip ties

Ducting is fastened to a pvc elbow (zip ties) which is hella tapped to my exhaust hole.
The whole thing is held up via bunji cords BUT because the pvc is touching the cab, the vibration from the fan is also transmitting its vibration -_-.... gotta fix that somehow. Probably another set of ghetto duct.

Exhaust hole is the same diameter as a CD rom (same size as intake)

I have light leaks from the doors but Im unsuccessfully trying to fix it... latest attempt is a thin piece of foam weather stripping taped to the center strip of black duct tape. The strip covers the crack between door and wall while the tape holds it in place. It seems to work, except every time I open the door the tape looses a little more of its adhesiveness =|

***PROBLEMS:*** NEED HELP
Temperature.
Ambient room temp is about 26c (actually lowered when left thermometer out longer to about 24c), and inside the cab it gets about 30c. Exhaust temps are about 29-30c.

Because its a test run and Im not having to worry about MJs stank, there is no filter obstructing the kaze from pulling its listed 133cfm.

What can I do to drop this cab temp to the recommended 26c without running ducts everywhere outside the cab?

I have 1 more kaze fan, same type, Im not using. Will throwing that in reduce temps any?

NEXT ***

Duct Connection.
I know I went DIY with the duct so its my own fault but does anyone know how to connect ducting to a flat surface?
I attached the pic of what my filter is. It goes in the sink to catch food stuffs. The holes aren't huge but it doesn't seem to restrict any airflow from the exhaust. I checked the fans breeze before throwing it in the cab and it feels the same.

Thank you everyone for looking at my 1st cab. I appreciate all comments and/or advice you can give.
I know a grow tent would be easier but I got this cab for free so Id rather use the tent money on a good fan when the money comes in.

Ill be lurking / bumping.

Aloha

The reason your temps are so high is probably because the only ventilation you have is a computer fan?

Sorry for stating the obvious.

Really? I figured with the cfm and rpm rating of the fan I would have been enough for this cab... Looks like Ill have to dual kaze this cab until I have enough for a panny whisper -_-

In theory it may sound acceptable, but keep this in mind: People use several computer fans just to ventilate a computer that's 1/x times the size of your grow box. Most of the time people also aren't using computer fans to push air through ducting which tends to cut down what fans do quite a bit. Also have to keep in mind computer fans tend to have a lot less torque, very weak static pressure, any kind of obstruction at all murders them.

I mean, what else could it even be?

Very true... I think I was blinded by my eagerness to start so I figured it would've been my intake size. So many size debates...
Anyway, all I can do now is use my other kaze side by side until I can afford a real fan.

Thanks once again!

Aloha! Grew up in Hawaii, assume that's where you're from. I like the cab. Maybe put one fan in your passive intake hole and make it active intake? May help lower temps. Also maybe but oscillating fans inside to help circulate the air a bit more. Good luck!

Sorry I saw you have a oscillating fan in there already...

Or somehow hold the oscillating fan up to the ducting. :D and put the cpu fans on the intake.

It's probably a good amount more powerful than the cpu fan.

Yea bruddah. Thanks for the advice. I thought about adding an active intake but was scared of the long scientific post I skimmed over regarding intake fan speed vs exhaust fan speed.
At this point Im just going to do what I can with what I have so ya, Ill give it a shot.

Aloha from oahu here. You dont live here no more huh? Anyways you got everything set except, your light panel isnt what they consider efficient for led's, they still put out heat! I can recomend you a delta 12v 252cfm fan from amazon. They are loud though so be prepared.

Ill try give it a swap after I add a lower rpm fan for an active intake and see if that helps any hah.

Naw I had to move for work but I plan on moving back soon... this place kind of blows after the first year.
Yea my light panel was some cheap china light from ebay that had free shipping so I thought it would be a nice starter. Theres no CFL bulbs here and HPS setups are WAYYY over priced because its all imported, so ya - hot led for now. The tomatoes and peppers are slowly but surely getting there tho.

Ive read things about that fan lol. Everyone says better to just get a vortex xD. But my area is painfully silent at night (when I run my box) so I cant have anything too ragin'.

Been hearing good things from panasonic whispers. I gotta dump about $200 for the 110cfm because of the shipping but its better than anything they have here.

Yes, 120mm fans moving 250cfm sounds like a turbine because it has to spin so fast! So if noise is an issue, dont buy them. Also, in my cab i find the best ventilation for me is active. But your active intake cannot whatsoever move more cfm then tour exhaust, you will have more air flow per minuit but you will also have more heat trapped in the box then heat being exhausted out. If your doing passive, the intake needs to be able to move more volume than your exhaust, carefull though too much intake will retain too much heat just like active cooling.

Mahalo brah! Perfect info.
I got a couple lower rpm and cfm fans I can use.

Mind if I ask what fan you're using? is noise a factor for you?

Im using delta 252cfm 120mm's. While noise is not a factor for me, my living room sounds like a 747! Quite irratating but im never home so i get by. You know how it is here bro, gotta work every day all day.
