I come from another forum just was not feeling it. I like it here seems more chill.

Well Here are some updated pics of my flowering 3 pots / also my mother veg clone chamber.
I grow in soil as im a beginner..(kindalikeit)

These are all bagseed ok and in week 2 of flowering tell me what ya'll think. Mind you all these went through hell and back and I managed to get all female.

There you have it.. Anything you guys can tell me as i'm cont in a new forum site..Also how can I get lower branches to shoot up like what do I bend and such... All 3 are growing with ph at 6.4..

Using a 150 hps and 2 14 watt cfl for flowering...

Flowering cabinet square footage = 6 [ L= 34 W= 19 H= 40 ]

Delta pc fan exhuast carbon filter 4" cfm 160

degrees 84 - 88 humid 29-37

Hello mate,
Looking good so far.
I don't see any deficiencies.
What soil are you using?
Keep up the good work

Adding another 150 w HPS would help results a lot. A 4 or 6 inch vortex fan would coool those temps/

Looking good.... I'd add more light if you can... that would be more heat and like sunny said you might want to lower those temps

Thanks im using fertiloom soil with no time release garbage..

So I add another or throw in some cfl or should i get me a 75 watt hps bulb from walmart that don't require ballast.

Now here is what I need to know so if my pc delta fan says 160 cfm and i buy a 4 inch exhaust fan like the kinds you mentioned pulls in more air then a pc fan correct even if the fan says 172 cfm ..

Thanks yes so I will try and see what I should put in.

So any bending I should do or something for even canopy here is pic of canopy. And the clone of pot 2 which I had successfully cloned I have her in my veg/clone/mother box...

Here is the Canopy view all 3 pots..

And here is the clone of Pot 2 as you can see some burn leef was all my fault its when I built the chamber it was touching lighst so I fixed that and has been growing since..
Also I have these 6 in soil seeds which has all germinated in soil with dome method.. :weed: Love it...

I think those HPS still require a ballast. I fell for the same trap. Unless the box specifically states that it is for a regular light socket do not plug this in. These bulbs are made for outdoor lighting fixtures that have a ballast.

A vortex fan will pull much more air than a regular fan. You need to have somewhere to vent the air to though. You need to get the hot air away from your intake. Over the winter i ran 300w of hps in a tent and just vented the air into the same room the tent was in. It raised temps in the room by around 4 degrees. Best to send the air to another room or attic or to outside.

OK so should i get a 4 inch 6 inch or 8 inch .. I have a good deal on them its called StealthGRO
125-250w hps = 4" 200cfm/400-600w hps 6" 300cfm/600-1000hps 8"300/500cfm

Also, those mogul 125 watt hps usually dont require a ballast unless stated on the package. If it were me, this is what i would do before purchasing another 125 from wal mart. A 250watt ballast+bulb HPS in an air cooled hood would do much much better then x2 125watt hps. Those 125's get extremly hot for its wattage. Another thing is you have to make sure your exhaust fan will handle the heat if you plan on pulling air. Usually 30watts and up are beefier and usually made with composite plastic instead of the easily melting abs plastic.(anything 12v that is more then 2.4 amp) is over 30watts.

Ahhh, I thought they required a ballast. I was so excited to buy a 100w hps and then was told I could not run it with a regular socket.

The 4" vortex fans are nice, but if I had to do it again I would have bought a 6" only because if I want to upgrade to an air cooled hood I need 6" or be forced to use a fiew pieces of piping to downsize from ^" to 4" and that takes up a lot space to accommodate the pieces.

Either way you will likely want a fan speed controller. $25

Well should i get more light at the moment or get the fan first for the temps... And are you talking about this --- > http://www.ebay.com/itm/250-watt-Digital-HPS-Grow-Light-Kit-Cool-Tube-Hood-Dimmable-Ballast-250w-Bulb-/390949962092

Yea like that package but with an air cooled reflector not a cool tube. The difference is an aluminum fixture housing instead of a glass tube. Also, you cant throw the 250watt air cooled reflector without the intake exhaust hooked up to a proper vetilating system. A 250watt alone in an air cooled reflector will make less/same heat then/as a 125 watt bare bulb hps hanging above the plants. However, light itself ia a form of energy (heat) so you will still need more ventilation the more lumens you have oer square ft.

OK so i can buy a 6 inch and use that first what can I use at the moment for this flowering as its my first grow. Plus do i need to bend anything or lst all 3 pots are female from what you see do you think i will pull a good personal yield... Im doing personal tired of getting stuff I don't know whats been done to it.

Its really up to you. I cant advise you to start twisting up your plants but if you want to then its pretty easy, just be sure to read up good on different teqniques especially topping and fimming. Is this your first grow? How long have they been on 12/12?. Im not sure about your yield because almost everything you can think of about growing will effect yield. However with a 250w hps, you will atleast have something worth much more then qhat you spent on electricity assuming you "KISS". Keep it simple.

Yeah its 2 weeks in flowering.. I added 4 more 14 watt actuall cfl to the top of canopy for now alongside the 150 hps.. Out of these 3 pots im sure i should get at least 1 oz dry in total maybe idk..

Its hard to say because you cant just look at it and guess. Depends on strain,light,temps,co2,nutes,no early deficiencies, stress ect.. I will say though, if done right you will be looking at 30-60dry grams. Like i said though it could be 20 grams or 70 grams. Hard to tell.

Nice nice thats good enough for personal use I believe.

Also I added updated pics I pruned some lightly take a look and some bud shots.
