Ok I have a can-filter 33 with 4 inch flange and can fan ho. This all goes to a 4 inch muffler, 6 in ducting and 6 inch xl cool tube.... My house temps stay around 75f but my room gets to about 85+... If I went with a bigger fan would that keep my temps down. It's going to get crazy hot during the summer. It gets about 100+ during summer.... Any help would be great

I just turned the ballast down to 300 or 50 % and my temps dropped like crazy. It's sitting at 79f...I guess that's where I would have to keep it

Yes I have an ac and the fan is inside....I think I'm just going to keep it on the 50% setting which is 300 watts... I thin the lower temp will off set what I would lose in yeild with the lower setting. I think my yeild could have been better if my temps weren't so high

I guess I'm confused..... are you cooling your light with the only exhaust you have for the room? If you cooled your light with its own exhaust and had a separate exhaust that was just for exhausting hot ambient air and attached your filter for smell control i believe you would be able to cool down your room more. However, i am completely against air cooling lights directly. add a/c, or get a fan that has a higher cfm rating.

It's a cool tube that's cooling the room and light together...I'm not getting an ac for a 3x3 room. That doesn't work for me. I would rather cut my yeild by cutting my light down which I have done. 300 watt hps for autos should work fine. If need be I will add a week on for harvest.......

Turn your house down to 70..that would help alot..you cold blooded..lol? Got a basement/crawlspace under the house? could you duct air in from there? At one buddies house we built a false, 7'tall x 12'long, wall against one basement wall where he would draw his air from behind. Because the air was being drawn over the basement wall that was below ground the air was always chilled down to around 60 deg's all year long I'm sure you don't want to go this crazy but I saw where someone ran irrigation piping in a cooling loop in there yard and drew there air in thru that constant 58 deg air..geothermal cooling..

I didn't read the last post about it only being a 3x3 tent..lol..fill a cooler with dry ice and draw your air in over that..IDK how long dry ice lasts..but it would also supplement co2..
