regrow celery

I'm sure y'all have seen this. But its a fun one to do with the kids. Keep the bottom stalk of your store bought celery. Put it in waterrfor a few days and then in soil. It grows rather quickly

i have saran wrap covering my celery seeds in soil, trying to get those fuckers to germinate. it's tough.

i think i'll try this instead.

I like to try it out on any spare or partial veg, I got a shit load of rhubarb, never tasted it, but keep the leaves for a diy bug killer in the grow room, also aloe vera, as a living first aid kit

Works with carrots and parsnips too.

nice...onions work really well this way too...potatoes too...I threw out some scraps only about 3 weeks ago and already sprouting potato tops
