What's good riu. Its been a few years since my last grow. Just doing a little experiment with some bag seeds. There about week old an seem to be moving a bit slow. Or maybe its just me. I gave them a feeding of superthrive this morning. Any in site or advice. Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They look fine for being only a week in the dirt.

I'm not sure what you're growing in or what you intend to do about feeding but as long as you go easy early on you should be good.

Take it you've got air exchange and circulation sorted? Also a good idea to use a humidifier to increase rh to 70-80 range.

That's all they really need at this stage imo.

they look good, no worries :)

I'm not a fan of the tin foil, not sure what value it would provide...IMHO I would get rid of it

I agree, get rid of the foil, it may burn your little baby in spots. Why the toothpicks? Are they stretching and falling over? Maybe lower the light? Do you have a fan on them? =) Looks like they are starting out right, looks good to me.

Thanks guys! Now the tin foil completely 86 that or just off the base. It was a suggestion to get more light around the stock to strengthen it up. Yea there was a bit of streching on the first night when they sprouted an she was shooting up a bit south. Lol so I strapped on a toothpick an a small tie. Sn moved the lights closer. Seemed to train it back up right. So I removed it this morning. There is a good amount of circulating air. Using a floor fan at the moment. There In an entertainment center untill I get my closest up an going. This is just a hobby im not trying to distribute or grow the worlds best buds. Lol thanks for the advice. :) !

so I gather you are using tin foil as well for reflection.....it's not the greatest reflector, and some say it can cause hot spots...better to use flat white paint or mylar

but for now, take the tin foil off the base..... show us some pic's of the entire setup and some specifics about your grow

SuperThrive is not a nutrient. But that's OK, because at 1 week you shouldn't be gtveing them anything but water.

They look nice and healthy, good job so far. Get a small fan ASAP, its important, otherwise your stems will be weak and eventually have problems supporting the weight of the plant.

Nice job! They will probably stretch for another week or two or three... if its bagseed its probably going to take a while to flower. How long did you veg them ? About two weeks? That was smart considering your light restrictions.

About a month they vegged. There aboaboutt two feet tall. Moving a lil slow but im in no rush. No nutrients just a dose of super thrive every once in awhile. Organic soil. Low budget. But hey there healthy

Nice manicure  No nutes at all? The soil must have some in it. Superthrive has a little bit of nitrogen in it but its mostly vitamins that are not proven to do anything at all. (I use it because I think my plants are healthier regardless of the lack of proof) I might have an argument for not using it in flower though... You probably need to give it some kind of bloom formula nutrient if you do not want to run into deficiencies... I use a cheap but nice orchid bloom fertilizer at home depot for about 6 bucks, my plants like it much better than the miracle grow bloom i was using.

They will move slow because of a few reasons, because they were from seed, had short veg time and because they are slow flowering sativa dominant plants. If you hang in there you'll be happy in the end. You wont grow monsters but you'll have some nice smokable bud :bigjoint:
