I was gonna say, everytime i underwatered it looks much worse then when i overwatered. My method is blowing on the leaves. Overwatered will have heavy leaves with weak stems, underwatered will have lifeless leaves that will move with ease if you blow on it. Works for me. Maybe when you shut the lights off the plant went ape shit on nitrogen rendering your medium empty.

Hi guys, I have read over the internet about the 24-48 hours of complete darkness before flowering to trigger flowring stage faster, well stupidly i did that to my bud plant for 34 straight hours of complete darkness, thing is after i took it out to the sun the plant is all wilted. It does not seem strong as it used to, i know i messed up by doing the 34 hours of darkness but im a noobster. whan can i do to save my lil girl? Before i gave it the 34 hours of complete straight darkness the plant was doing great with its leaves standing up strong, now its all wilted :( how can i save it? is it because the lack of sun light did not dry the soil and its in a way overwatered? the bottom leaves got yellowish.
thanks for your advices
it needs a drink i have done 1 whole week of darkness without any issues clones only tho from seed u will get a hermie for sure but 1 whole week then 2 days of 12/12 instent bud

yeah bro, last night i realized it wasn't the darkness fault, but my fault for not watering the plant. I read that if you do the complete darkness thing, the plant tends to go dry real quick and so i failed to water it as soon as i took it out to the sun, also all of my plants are from seed so hopefuly i dont get a hermie!! i am taking it back to the full veg stage. The sun here only shines from 8am to 8pm which is only 12hrs of direct sunlight, since im growing outdoors. So i will just let the plants do their thing and complete the spring, summer and fall seasons :)

My first grow I did 69 hours dark without any negative results and got a fair amount of shit here for doing so. Second grow I did a side by side that certainly seemed to indicate that the darkness enabled faster maturation. Third grow I went 4 days dark and things look great.

Originally was told to give them a day after last water and then go dark. Next grow I am going 5 days dark with a more controlled side by side. Search on my name and "dark" in the title for a couple threads that document the first grow.

Bottom line is, my girls have always come out of the dark looking fabulous.
