transpotting auto flowering plant

You can and should sooner than later. Usually transplanting autos is a bad idea due to the stress the plant can endure and the stalling of the growth process because of it. Autos are usually started in a larger pot to avoid the potential stress later in the growing process. They have a countdown clock that can't be reset.

I haven't grown a ton of autos but the handful I did were transplanted up just like my regulars. I had zero issues so I don't know if I'm just damn good at transplanting or if it really isn't that big an issue.

Depends on the strain, the gardener, etc. as to if the plants have a lot of stress from the process. I am sure you can "get away" with it, it is just a better idea to not subject your autos to it.

Your really not supposed to just for the simple fact that autos have a shortened life span and for that reason dont tolerate stress too well (since they dnt have the time to recover) It is best to start autos in the final container.

If your good at it and can do it without stress, yes.

You can start them in those paper starting cups then when ready you can tear the bottom off and plant the whole cup.

You will be fine. The whole idea of "stressing" an auto is that once it finishes a certain stage such as the rooting stage, it moves onto the next phase. I agree, the best method is to plant them from a seedling into the final pot, let them root and move onto the next phase, veg, then move onto flowering and do their thing. The reason to love autos is, they are simple, Hardy fast and grow good bud. Ya gotta give them the environment they need and not fuck with em too much. They are "automatic" and don't need your influence like a photo.

For sure at 8 days you're not going to hurt it. It's still in the rooting phase. I do that all the time. Start in hempy solo cups and replant into the final container.

I get great results.

Edit. If you transplant after the rooting phase it confuses the plant. "Stress".
