looks like u are trying to quieten the fan too

the best way to do that is a box pack with a cheap bed topper (u know those foam things for beds) ..........if u do this make sure u add one of these

put the probe on the outter part of the fan u can keep a eye on the temp of it (at 130/140 they have a auto shut off built into the fans themself)

your muffler is at the wrong spot

u want it at the ejection point to slow the air coming out removiing the sound of a high speed fan dumping it

if u can try this

carbon filter ducting cooltube ducting fan ducting muffler ejection point
wait im confused...so where should i move the muffler to...as of now the air blown thur the muffler

the muffler goes at the end of your ducting right before the ejection point

think of it like a car muffler ........it is only slowing the air down so it does not have a sound of a high power fan (it is at the very very end right before it is dumping the air outside (ment to hide the sound of it )

ok
the most common way we do it ......i did it
carbon filter (at the front this is at the very top sucking out hot used air) ducting to the cooltube ........then ducting to the fan .......then ducting to the ejection point (the muffler would go here )

for some reason sucking the air over the cooltube vs pushing it is cooler (sucking is cooler) ....think it is the fact the air keeps speeding up as heads to fan vs slowing down as moves away

as far as the sound of air you wont hear it. the air goes under my whole apartment. ive sad next to the exit which is in the walk way and you cant hear a thing. im more so worried about the sound of the fan

if i did that that means i will have to go buy a 6-4 reducer and...the flange on the carbon filter is a 4 in. along with the fan and muffler. i was able to fit the 6 in ducting over the outside of the whole muffler...the filter, fan and muffler were all new for $75 so i had to get it

the way u have it hanging on cords is perfect now u would enclose that in a box u modified with the foam u cut the holes for the ducting

as for your outer office put a air filter and run it the noise is masked/ explained (just a hepa filter do not add Ozone to the air the plants use it removes Co2 ) if u get one that has ozone for those need to hide trimming smell

this has ozone u can turn on and off plus a UV light kills air born things ........works great for me

no u can use 4 inch .........just add a reducer to the cooltube only the rest can be run in 4 inch.............

naw water heaters are big old bombs and to have so many onsite they need to check them once a year make sure everything is still good and no one has tweaked the heater for hotter water /more pressure

the door it is behind

i know it some money but it is 600lbs of holding force with a remote for u to enter when u want
aslong as the place has power the door does not open (u can always wire up batteries for back up)

Yeah that is hella nice. But I don't want to use the outside area. Would hate to try to set up and given less then 24 hours to shut down....where it is now is the best spot...it's in the living room in a washing closet....it's perfect lol
