first grow - 10 days in - too short?

Looking real good. Try not to over think it. Set it and forget it. All good advice here. You could try to LST. I have done it on taller autos. These look a bit short and bushy to bend over. The hardest part about autos is doing nothing :)

Also, autos are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you will get. You could plant ten seeds from the same plant and get ten different looking plants. Some short and bushy, some tall etc..

There are a number of " Lowryder " strains ( dwarf ) and no two are alike. I would realistically say yield if things go well around maybe 40g . Hydro can yield much better.

They stay small and short , it's in its genetics. The buds are kinda dense. But for an easy , real easy plant to grow , this is the one. The ruderalis part of the genetics is the part that makes Autos different in terms of growth and life span.

I would say about 20 days or so flowers should be evident. And some Autos can be males.
I've heard the opposite, that dirt yields more than hydro. I'm honestly curious, can you please explain?

The advantage using hydro is that the plants will generally grow quicker and finish much earlier. This comes from the fact they are continuously being watered and dried out.
Precision metering of solutions and mixes. Plants thrive on a system that lets them get dry followed by a heavy feeding. This way they can absorb the nutrients better and faster. In addition, the plants can be more easily flushed because the system doesn't hold water for very long. I prefer soil grows. It seems the plants have a more earthy flavor

Yeah it's in a 5 gallon pot. First 10 days the growth was so slow I thought it was stunted, but someone told me it was probably growing a lot of root.

I was told if using FFOF on an auto that you shouldn't feed any nutes till week 7! Do you think this is too long before a feed?

Damn, that's a beauty - where is the NL from? Just ordered some Auto NL beans from CropKingSeeds that I want to try.
I feed when I can tell the plants need it

Thanks for the insight man. My humidity level runs between 25-40%, and it's hard for me to get it any higher. Is that too dry?
Easy to rise the humidiy put plates around the plant and fill with water I normaly line plates with paper towel so there's even more water this will evaporate and increase humidiy and yes 40 is too low u want 60 or 70 when they growing when they start to flower hard then lower the humidity
Also I pulled 12 oz off 4 Nl auto that's dry manicured bud plants took 90 day from seed to finish was on. 18/6 light

any idea what these yellow things are? almost look like bug bites or something.... (I checked everywhere, including under leaves and didn't find any other signs of possible bugs. I did find one Gnat a few days ago but nothing since...)

Could you possibly have had water droplets on your leaves when the hps was on? That will burn the leaves. Kind of looks like something was eating it though.
