Hey Frenchy.

Have you sampled any rosin yet? You might really dig it. Its really flavorful. Lots of terps. Supposedly other people who got theirs tested already are showing a high terpene profile. Its made with high heat pressing too.

I have sampled rosin and I have actually done some 3 years back when it was popular in Europe to check it up.
The smoke is nice but does not have the depth of good old Hashish may it be in the smoke or the high, something missing.
Rosin is an extract, made by pressing flowers or resin glands with heat, you have the same set back than with BHO and CO2 and loose the wholeness of the resin glands by treating the disc cell, membranes and fibrillar matrix of the resin head as garbage. The process of the whole magical transformation of 2 single and common molecules (terpenes and phenol) binding together into 80+ cannabinoids is unique to that specific resin head, we do not even understand fully the transformation. The entourage effect of the Cannabis plant is acknowledge by the scientific community, the whole essence of the plant is expressed in its resin and the shell that make the transformation. Clean medicine is important but you have to be sure that what you are cleaning is not important to the wholeness of the medicine

Dr. Frenchy PhD!

The enzyme activity is also key. That is why the cure adds so much depth and character. Like aging wine or cheese. The bad elements diminish and the good elements are enhanced.

I make awesome "icewax" and rosin every time. I've only been able to get that greasy cannolli once. That was with 9lb hammer only. All the pressed hash I've made is 4 star at best.. 3/4 melt at best.

Do you think mixing trims can cause that to be lower grade? I usually mix my trims. I only have 1 or 2 plants of each strain.. I let the hash cure for a long time too. That 9 lb hammer was ridiculous only after 2 weeks of cure.

AJAXATAX when it is that sticky freezing is the best way or at least the most convenient one. You have now to micro plane and dry in a dedicated place 55 F temp and 35% humidity. Sticky resin is a pain but it is quality as well which makes it much more appealing
